Thank you Womentum for holding the Power Hour Room to talk about our 2022 Aspirations last night! I'm putting mine in writing so that I can go back to read and be reminded of it along the year. Can't wait to see how the journey unfolds!
#2022
Beautiful morning begins with a beautiful intention. Start yours today on the right foot.
Sometimes you wish to just hide out in your room and ignore the world to rest from the burnout, but people keep looking for you, right? 😔
You can’t blame them, they can’t read your mind — no matter how much you ‘wish they would know me by now’.
As much as you need people to understand that you are not in the right mindset to reply or respond, it’s just healthier for you to tell them outright that you are not ready instead of ignoring a message. (And vice versa, you should also not feel offended when you get this reply)
It’s hard I know, but you are not alone. I’m learning too. ❤️
It’s Monday! Now go out and conquer the world! (Or yourself!)💃🏻
Thank you for the reminder. 🥰
Studies have shown that there is a direct linkage between a baby’s wellbeing to the mother’s mental state. If the mother is depressed, that affects how the baby develops after it’s born.
A research team from University of California-Irvin have discovered older children whose mothers were anxious during pregnancy, which often is co-morbid with depression, have differences in certain brain structures.
Caring for the pregnant mother’s mental and emotional health is important to the shaping of our future generation. Let’s start empowering our mothers with the right tools for their mental health.
Catch .villi and I Friday 29th October at 12PM to discuss how post-partum too has a direct linkage in the development of a healthy baby.
