I swear I’m a different person when I’m applying color 😅 I have the angriest face when I’m concentrating, I don’t talk, I don’t breathe, and I’m almost positive that sometimes I hold my clients’ fingers a tad too steady (and I’m so sorry about this last one 🙈) All that being said, I’m very proud of the level of detail I’m achieving as a nail technician 💅🏻

Two weeks ago I’ve started a new chapter in my career and attended the NailPro Master Challenge in Sacramento, participating in two categories: one technical and one design. It was a new ground for me in terms of the style of the competition. We only needed to bring our tools and they provided the products and the models. I was excited because this was my first competition in 7 years and I knew that I would have issues with timing, so my only goal was to finish the nails in time - which I barely did - but what I pulled off under pressure was just unbelievable to me. I was so happy that I got second place in “Tip and Overlay” with acrylic, and knowing I can do better with proper practice gave me a boost for future competitions.
