Our September Patio Weekend kicks off in just TWO days, so let's pull back the curtain on the new Seasonals coming your way!
🍻 Grilled Stickie Stout (8.4%) - Our official TBC Tailgate beer returns just in time for Saturday's TBC Tailgate Brunch | PSU v Illinois! The imperial milk stout's roasty and chocolate notes perfectly balance the sweetness of the cinnamon and vanilla additions to produce a totally decadent treat! It will also go perfectly with some grilled stickies or in a beer float with Goose Bros. Ice Cream vanilla!
🍻 Peach Local (8%) - Our house gose was first scaled up to an imperial and sweetened with lactose to smooth out the beer's fruity tartness, and then we added 25 pounds of Chambersburg peach puree- Red Havens from Shatzer Fruit Market- to infuse a lovely peach flavor that's as local as it gets 🍑 This one will probably go quickly, so grab some early!
🍻 Hello Friend (7.6%) - Hazy lactose IPA hopped with Strata, Nectaron & Huell Melon. Chewy and super smooth, with pineapple flavors from the Omega Yeast Tropical IPA yeast and tropical fruit, berry, citrus & melon notes from the trio of hops.
🍻 Blue Harvest (6%) - This third yearly batch of our märzen was brewed and processed as traditionally as we could manage- we don't have a German ice cave, but the beer WAS brewed in March and then lagered in our walk-in refrigerator for nearly 6 months before kegging- and the third time was DEFINITELY the charm. Smooth and subtle malt flavors with just a hint of fruit and a crisp, clean finish- it's a beautiful beer that we're really proud of.

Tickets are now on sale for Cumberland Valley School of Music's annual Oktoberfest celebration at The Barrel House on 9/16!
Come enjoy a evening of wonderful music presented by Shippensburg Blaskapelle German Band, Sweet Rollers pretzel bites and a goodie bag- all included with your ticket! Chameleon 1648 Culinary Services will also have traditional German food available for purchase, and we'll be serving our full bar menu (including this year's Blue Harvest Oktoberfest Lager)!
We'll be cheering on the Lions earlier in the day during our TBC Tailgate Brunch | PSU v Illinois, so plan to make a day of it with us on The Patio!

🍻‼️Two New August Brews‼️🍻
A pair of yummy fruit bombs will be hitting our tap list on Thursday!
The summer version of our All The Things series starts with our kettled soured milkshake triple IPA base (accented with lactose and vanilla, 10% ABV) and adds a Farmstand full of seasonal fruit- watermelon, apricot, plum & cherry! The aroma and flavor profiles are both watermelon forward- it's got a nice Jolly Rancher vibe, but the flavor's all from the fruit, no candy added 😁- with more subtle accents from the other fruits and gentle finishing hops to add balance. It's tart and refreshing and totally delicious!
Our Mango Mule Gose (4% ABV) is a riff on the classic Moscow Mule cocktail. It starts with our house gose and adds mango, Thai ginger & lime. It's intensely fruity and slightly exotic, honoring the inspiration while also creating something new.
MMG will also be part of this month's Blend of the Month, where it will be paired with our hefeweizen in a Giganto Mule! And you'll be able to enjoy both beers in special $10 flights during our Flight Night w/Peculiar Pizza! on 8/31!

All-time Nathan Merovich and Peculiar Pizza are back for another awesome Thirsty Thursday to get things started (8/10 6-9), and then we'll have a pair of Patio debuts on Friday, with great country music from Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center A Capella & Unplugged 2022 winner Willeby Hayes and killer eats from local food truck Kickin’ Rooster Chicken Sandwiches (8/11 5-10)!
