You will learn around 300 signs and symbols from Stages 1-4 plus Additional Stage of the Makaton Core Vocabulary. Background information and help on putting your signing into practice are included.
The course is online using Zoom. It is interactive and very practical. You will need access to a PC or Laptop (not phone, iPad or tablet) with a camera, microphone and a stable internet connection.
Price includes Course Manuals (posted to you before the workshop) and Makaton Certificates on completion (attendance at all 4 sessions is required).
The course is suitable for parents, families and professionals and anyone else who wants to learn to sign! No signing experience is necessary.

Petition: Make Makaton a compulsory part of Early Years and Primary Education in the UK. Communication is an essential life skill. Much of everyday life relies on it, from playing to learning, to getting our needs met. Makaton is a language programme using signs and symbols to aid communication.
