Event/Class Schedule October 2022

Trio of Cards – Thursday October 13 – 7:00pm

This month will be creating Christmas cards, where you will complete 3 cards. It is a great chance to work with product you may not have, to see if you like it, or simply a way to build up your greeting card inventory while having fun with a group of ladies.
Cost: $10.00 or free with a $25.00 order
Please RSVP – by Mon. Oct. 10th

Kit Night – Thursday October 20th – 7:00pm

Kits have become very popular, for both busy people and people who do not want to have a lot of products. Stampin’ Up! kits usually make 8 – 12 projects depending on the kit. Available is the traditional Paper Pumpkin kit as well as various kits shown online. Availability of kits change; therefore, they are shown online vs. being in the annual catalogue. Attendees will work on their own kit, making what they want, either by following the instructions or making alternative projects. If purchasing a kit for kit night, it will need to be ordered, prior to the night, as I may not have the kit you are wanting.
Cost: simply the cost of the kit. If you have a Paper Pumpkin or another Stampin’ Up! kit, already bring that to work on and there will, be no additional fee.

Paper & PJs – (or comfy clothes) – Friday October 21st 7:00pm

Bring whatever you are working on. This will not be a class but an open crafting evening. You are welcome to use my inks, blends, punches, dies, stamps etc. We will enjoy a treat that night.
Cost: $5.00 or free with a $20.00 order

Technique Class – Tuesday October 25th – 7:00pm

During this class you will make two projects using the night’s technique
or fancy fold project. This month we will be using the Stampin’ Up! soft Pastels. You will receive a reference sheet for technique being featured.

Happy World Card Making Day!

This is the sketch for this week's Saturday Sketch challenge. For some added fun due to this special card making day, let's try to get as many people as possible creating and posting a card using the sketch. Please share and talk to your friends about this.

If we can get 10 people posting a card, using this sketch by Monday night at 7:00pm this is what will happen. The usual drawing for the winner will take place. Plus, I will draw for a free stamp set to be given away. How many crafty friends do you have?

Hi everyone,

Here are the measurements for the treat package I created on tonight's FB Live.

Cardstock 5"x 5" - scored along one side at 1/2", 1",4" and 4 1/2"
Window sheet - 3" x 5"
Cardstock for holding candy - 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" and scrap of matching Cardstock to make a pull tab for slider holding candy
Scrap of basic white Cardstock to make tag and stamp leaves
Ribbon or twine and Embellishments of choice.

I used a die from the basic border die set for the ending on the holder.
