Good morning. Please be advised that bus 18.1 will be delayed arriving at schools due to double route coverage. Bus 16-8 (Boromville and Highway 10) and Bus 18-1 (Hannon Community; County Road 2; and County Road 47) will ride together this morning. Thank you for your patience.

The Macon County Transportation Department is looking for school bus drivers. If you have a Class B CDL with school and passenger endorsements; pass background check; pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening; and current physical, please join our team today!
Buses will be rolling in the morning. Please be at bus stops before bus arrives. Remember, you wait on the bus and not the bus on you. Let’s start this year off on the good foot!

In approximately 10 days from now the Macon County School Buses will be rolling through your community. Please make sure that you are at the designated bus stop 5-10 minutes prior to pickup time. If you are in need of any transportation information please contact the transportation department at 334-724-0890. The transportation information line will be open and available Monday, July 31, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. until August 7, 2023.
Good morning. Please be advised that Bus 23.04 (Pamela Punch) in the 29 North and Brownsville area is running late. However, the route will be ran this morning. Please be on the lookout for your bus. The Bus will be leaving the yard at 7:00 am. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Good morning, please be advised that Bus 16.8 (Mr. Daniel) will be picking up students that ride 18.1 (Mr. Moore) bus until further notice. Mr. Daniel will not arrive at the same time as Mr. Moore arrived so be patient. Thank you for your usual cooperation.

Good morning parents and students. Please be advised that bus 16-5 on the Brownsville area will be delayed this morning about 30 minutes. However, the bus is coming. Thank you for your patience.
Bus 21.01 is being replace by 18.3. Please be patient. Thanks
Good morning Parent and Students. Please be advised that school has been canceled at Booker T. Washington and Tuskegee Institute Middle schools due to no water. Students will be returned home via school buses. Thank you
School Bus Procedures: Parents buses will be rolling through communities on August 8, 2022. Returning and new students are encouraged to be at designated bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to arrival. All students are required to follow the simple bus rules below:
1. Stand off roadway while awaiting bus
2. When crossing in front of bus stay 10 feet from bumper and await driver’s signal before crossing
3. Obey and cooperate with the Bus Driver
4. Be seated immediately after boarding and remain seated properly
5. Do not scuffle with or harass other students
6. Do not fight, quarrel, yell or use profanity
7. Keep all body parts and belongings out of aisle and feet on the floor
8. Do not eat on bus
9. Do not damage seats or other property
10. The driver should not hear any sounds coming from electronic devices
11. Students will be picked up and dropped off at residence or designated stop only
