“LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: HB4332 Healthcare Registry Identity Bill is effective January 1, 2023. Allowing undocumented immigrants throughout Illinois to utilize an ITIN number to enroll in various healthcare professions and conduct a background check for clinical and job placement opportunities.
This will allow students who can obtain an ITIN to pursue healthcare fields in Illinois regardless of having DACA. We look forward to seeing more students enrolling on campuses this year and a diverse increase in the field that will directly impact our healthcare system across Illinois.”
