Its so easy to become shortsighted, 🤔 and not think about how your decisions now will affect you. But I promise you, they do! And you'll love yourself even more if you don't give up when it gets hard. 💪🏼

"I eat clean during the week but have a few cheat meals over the weekend…” 🧐

AKA… you decided you are going to lose weight, so you started “eating clean” and cut out all the “bad” foods BUT it didn’t last long.

By Friday, you’re so burnt out from restricting & overworking yourself, that you cave into your cravings. Before you know it you’ve ate an entire box of pizza, half a bag of chips and an entire bottle of wine. 🥴

Ashley knows this too well because she's been there. This cycle was her reality for almost 5 YEARS and prevented her from seeing any sort of progress in her body, despite working hard in the gym.

Not to mention the overwhelming amount of guilt, anxiety, and pressure to be perfect around food. 💔 She didn’t know what normal eating looked like and didn’t know how to properly nourish her body anymore.

And this is exactly what a poor relationship with food looks like. Food is demonized, certain foods are labeled as “good” or “bad”, food is used to cope with emotions, and you suddenly “aren’t allowed” to have certain foods because you’re on a diet.

Trust us, it doesn’t have to be this way!! 🎉

We live by and teach our clients the 80/20 rule: 80% of your diet comes from whole foods and 20% from FUN foods that we enjoy and frankly, keeps us sane! 👏🏼

With the 80/20 lifestyle, you can have dessert EVERY single night if you want to! (a cookie a day keeps the doctor away, right? 😉)

Two words: SIMPLE 👏🏼 BASICS 👏🏼

When it comes to sustainable weight loss, it can sometimes feel overwhelming or daunting to get everything done on your to-do list. 😅

Not to mention all of the information out there online, it can feel super confusing and leave you unsure of where to start.

But over here at Bangin' Body Blueprint, we are all about going back to the basics, baby! We aim to have our clients take small, bite sized + simple steps everyday. ✅ They're small enough to seem do-able, but effective enough to add up to BIG changes. 🔥

Calling all busy babes! 📢⏰

Making your health a priority on top of a busy schedule can feel almost impossible, especially with the holiday season quickly approaching! 🎉

But if there's one thing we've learned from coaching busy professionals, SAHMs, full time students and even women in active duty, it's this: It's never about HAVING the time⌚, it's about MAKING the time.

We know, it sounds cliche. But it's true! Here's how to MAKE the time to become your hottest, healthiest & happiest self:

PLAN AHEAD

With so much on your plate, it's important for you to think 2 steps ahead. 🤔 Figure out what can you prepare / plan out NOW to make your life EASIER in the future.

Whether it’s meal prepping your dinner the night before, creating a time block in your calendar for your workout, getting groceries delivered instead of going after work, lay out your workout clothes the night before 👕👖, or planning your workout for the next day.

SET E'S AND B'S

Set realistic Expectations! It’s great to have high standards, but it can kill your confidence if you don't hit them. 

If you only have 20 minutes to workout, that's okay! But be real with yourself and know what your schedule truly allows for.

In order to put yourself first, you'll need to set Boundaries. ✋ Whether that's with work, friends or family. It may feel uncomfortable at first but remember, you're WORTH it.

START MESSY

Remember, life is never going to slow down and there will never be a “perfect” time to start. 

Time is going to pass whether you're working on your goals or not, so you might as well just start, even if it's messy! 🤪
