Page Claims Conference Carolinas Co-Golfer Of The Week Honors - UNCP Athletics GREENVILLE, S.C. – Georgia Page captured her first individual tournament title of the season to help the UNC Pembroke golf team to their first tournament title of the spring, to claim co-Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week laurels, league officials announced Wednesday.

The Braves will take a short break from competition and resume on April 2 for the North Georgia-hosted Bracket Challenge. The two-day tournament will be played at the Chimeny Oaks Golf Club in Homer, Ga.

DeBusk Named Conference Carolinas Golfer Of The Week - UNCP Athletics GREENVILLE, S.C. – A 13-over-par performance at the Low Tide Intercollegiate paved the way for Samantha DeBusk as she has been named as the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week, league officials announced Wednesday.

The announcement marks the second weekly honor for Georgia Page, but the first of the spring season. Page has now raked in six weekly conference awards over the last two seasons.

The Braves will play in their final fall tournament on October 31 when they compete at the Converse Fall Invitational. The two-day tournament will be played at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.

Golf Finishes Second At Jekyll Island Invitational - UNCP Athletics JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - Newcomer Vilma Evald carded a six-over-par 78 in the final round to help pace the UNC Pembroke golf team to a second place finish at the Jekyll Island Invitational on Tuesday at the Jekyll Island Pine Lanes Course.

The 2022-23 version of the Black & Gold is the first squad in program history to log at least one sub-300 round in three consecutive tournaments.

Tuesday’s round is the second-best round since the conclusion of 2018-19 season, and trails just a 297 turned in by the program at last season’s Conference Carolinas Championship.

Golf Finishes Strong At Patsy Rendleman Invitational - UNCP Athletics SALISBURY - Redshirt senior Georgia Page carded a one-over-par 72 on Tuesday to help the UNC Pembroke golf team to a second place finish after shooting tournament-low 299 in the final round of action at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational at the Country Club of Salisbury.

The Braves are tied for 5th place after the opening round at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational and will close out competition on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Tuesday, the teams will play the scheduled 18 holes in round two on Monday, and play as many holes as possible for round three before 7:30 p.m. Unfinished holes will be concluded Tuesday.
