🌊🏊♂️ What an exhilarating day at the Busselton Masters! Today, we tackled the wild water conditions at Yallingup Lagoon. It’s not often we see waves rolling through the lagoon, but we embraced the challenge and had an absolute blast. The water was warm, and with the temperature at 19°C, it was perfect for our adventure. Everyone was smiling and enjoying the unique experience. Lots of fun and fantastic memories! 🌞 A big thank you to Maureen and Colin for the lovely morning tea afterwards. Congratulations to Busselton Masters Swimming Club member, David Hill in completion of the 33 km English Channel Swim in Geographe Bay! Crossing the finish line at the Busselton Jetty tonight. 36 km in. Brought home by Vinnie, Richard George and Simon Keall who kept him going along the way home! The first minor hickup happened 800m into the swim, when a friendly shark 🦈 joined in on the fun. Luckily the shark shield worked, and scared him away.
