Oh hai, it’s me and helloooo 2024!

Last year, my New Year’s resolution went against the grain of all years prior by just being “Try less.” As someone who has spent most of their life on a performance wheel…this was big. And a challenging gear-shift. I took a winter sabbatical to San Diego and did a hard reset on asking:

✨What actually matters to me NOW?
✨What work do I want to be doing?
✨How can I infuse a sense of play into more of life?

And then I made myself Not Do for a while. And know what happened after the restless squirrel-brain and boredom passed? Stepping off that wheel gave breathing space to just mosey (and frolic!) around barefoot and slowly, slooowly really feel like I didn’t have to earn my existence by constantly Doing. I could just Be. And that’s…just as important as the doing.

Big stuff. Good and happy stuff. Highly recommend forcing a course-correction here and there.

So for this spin around the sun, I’m just excited and curious to lean into more of that. Less Doing for the sake of itself, and more curiosity about the people around me, how to connect with everyone I’m working with in new ways, and being outside as much as possible. I think it’s going to be magical. And I’m so happy you’re a part of it.✨
