I just discovered the "best" breakfast on the go! This is the egg white (with roasted red pepper) soufflé from Starbucks. It's delicious and contains 13g protein and 170 calories (much lower than most fast food options).

Here's my breakfast! There's nothing fancy about it, but I've learned that keeping things easy and simple works best for me. I've studied my body and eating habits over the last couple of years and know that consuming protein in the morning allows for more carbs at night (which is when I crave them), fuels my workouts, and keeps me feeling satisfied until lunch time.

Pictured is 3 egg whites scrambled with 20 grams of ham to make an omelette. Occasionally I do 4 egg whites or switch up the meat (especially when I have leftover steak).

Tonight for dinner we had Shrimp and Sausage Paleo Skillet. I used chicken sausage in order to lower the fat content. My family served over rice. We agreed that it was full of flavor. The Old Bay seasoning must have done the trick!

Peanut butter lovers, this Thai Pineapple Peanut Chicken Satay recipe🍍is a must try!! SO GOOD. You can cut the brown sugar in half or sub Stevia (that's what I did). Use liquid aminos in place of soy sauce and serve over brown rice to clean up.🍴

You guys! I just found the most amazing recipe, Healthy Buffalo Chicken Bowls!

It's full of flavor. Tastes like summer in my mouth! Seriously. And the dressing is to die for good. Mmm...

It's also simple and quick. The recipe calls for minimal ingredients and can be whipped up in minutes. I boiled my chicken to speed things up but you could also throw in the crockpot like the recipe recommends.

It's no secret...I LOVE lifting🏋🏼 and can't get enough of upper body💪🏻workouts. Over the last couple of years, I've developed a respect and admiration for weight training. I've witnessed it transform countless bodies (including my own) from weak and/or overweight to healthy, toned, and strong. Huge game changer!👊🏻

Some of you have asked about my workout regimen, so I'll do my best to tackle upper body💪🏻and will post about lower body and cardio another time. First, please know that it's okay (and normal) to be unfamiliar with some or even all of these exercises. Like anything else it takes time to learn and move forward, but your health is totally worth it. Searching YouTube is a great way to familiarize yourself with certain exercises and weight training in general.

I also have to share that when I started training for my first competition👙, I hit the jackpot on Pinterest!!!! Seriously. I searched IFBB pro bikini workouts and a whole slew of workouts that were geared towards my goals🎯popped up. I saved, printed, and completed nearly every one. They are AWESOME especially if you're not sure where to start or are looking for a game plan when you hit the gym🙋.
