There was a time where women were leaders and we understood that it truly takes a village.
Patriarchs were aware and afraid of a female’s power to command peace and harmony among all living beings, and this didn’t really fly with their agenda of owning and controlling their reality
In order to gain control, a carefully crafted cocktail of patriarchal religions, brute force, and fearmongering (sound familiar) was used to split apart these peaceful societies and divide women from each other order to survive.... women had to either submit or go underground.
As knights conquered new lands for kings, priestesses who associated with the “old religions” of harmony slipped quietly into the woods to await a time they would be accepted and revered once again.
Life became a game of survival, and unfortunately the game was set up so that women could not trust one another.
Then the “American Dream” put women comfortably in single-family homes with two children, a dog, a garden, and so many chores she had little time to make and cultivate female friendships.
Its difficult to do the work to heal the sister wound, because we have to dig into our own transgressions against other women.
When we delve into the pain that comes from being left out, we also have to acknowledge that we too have excluded other women.
We need to remember what it feels like to free the divine feminine. We need to allow women to screw up.
WAYS TO HEAL THE SISTERWOUND:
♡ Speak to women outside your circle
♡ Collaborate with other women
♡ Have a ladies night with no gossip allowed
♡ Apologize to an old friend/mother/sister/roommate for your actions in the past
♡ Mentor a young woman / soeak to elders

Most of my life ive been told what to do..(not even joking here.)
From a child, growing up with strict parents, deciding my life path, what school to go to, what friends to have, etc. (Pros and cons to having strict parents btw...lol)...to my younger adult life feeling like i couldnt keep up with my peers, always reaching for more but never told it/I was good enough. To working a job I thought would gain me respect, only to become lost and hate myself for who I was becoming.
When I began the path to really dig in, i dug up the treasures of myself I was hiding.
Treasures I thought weren't good enough to hold onto, and mostly the treasure "to be seen".
Self-acceptance is to adopt a more loving stance with yourself & realize that, until now, we've pretty much felt obliged to demonstrate our worth to others
The more you embrace yourself, through compassion, the more happiness you'll allow yourself to accept, receive and enjoy. In other words, you enjoy as much happiness as you believe you're worthy of
I can & I will accept myself, and it is my mission to help lead others down that path.

Today we celebrate Imbolc, or Saint Brigid's day - The Triple Goddess! It is a Gaelic Festival that marks the beginning of spring.
As the triple Goddess, Brigid represents life/death/rebirth....much like the transitions in our natural world, Imbolc reminds of new hope. That in order for something to become new again, sometimes it must die.
It is the beauty of life and death and the light that shines to support our world, also supports our spirit.
Today, spend a moment or two and celebrate the turning point of our season with Brigid.
Perhaps spend some time outside gathering a few items you find on the ground and find inspiration on their survival through winter.
