A beautiful botanical print for autumn. This gorgeous design was in the shorts collection last season and i just had to see it as leggings after one very persuasive dm from the loveliest gran…sometimes I need that little push;)

Also, after 10 years of using the same backdrop for my photos, it was time for a little change as my old set up was too small…repurposed some old barn boards from our acreage and viola, all set for the next 10 years 🙌🏼

Where the Wild Things Roam, a print celebrating all the beauty of Jasper National Park returns in September, extra meaningful now with the devastating forest fires that have ravaged the park and affected so many residents and wildlife that call it home ❤️

Hello everyone, I am BACK!! And ready to start sharing all of the gorgeous organic goodness coming up in the first drop of the Autumn Collection that will be coming in September 🍂

First up is this fun Halloween design that I shared in a stories poll back in early July and you guys helped pick…while I’m not the biggest halloween lover myself, pretty clear to see that I am in the minority there after my dms blew up when I shared peeks of the spooky prints I was sampling, haha! Designed by a Canadian based artist that I have been working with for nearly two years now, her art has become a staple in the olive me brand.

The Autumn Collection will be a mix of classics and new designs that will have your littles ready for all of the adventures that the fall season offers. Can’t wait to show you the whole collection!

What an amazing year this has been, I am so grateful and thankful to all of you, everyone who orders, those who try even when it’s not easy, and to everyone who is here just to cheerlead along the way, it means everything. If you are new to olive me, the shop closes for the summer months so that I take time to be more present with my family, stock up on supplies, plan the fall collections and do a lot of the behind the scenes work. I call it a break, but it I don’t actually stop, it’s jut my catch up time to get a breather in and get organized for another season, and first up like most years is elastics, my least favourite thing to do, haha.

So many of you know and understand small business life, finding that balance of work/family is always a struggle and over the years I have found this is what I need to do to reset, come in fresh for the next season and get that much needed family time.

Thank you so so much to everyone who ordered today, first up now that orders are sorted is to go through all of the extra shipping refunds…please note that the majority will come through today, but as I pack up over the next two days, a few more refunds will come as I see what I can fit in lettermail. For anyone who was charged expedited shipping and only ordered two items, email me if you’d like the option to potentially switch to lettermail. All orders will be mailed by Friday at the latest.

Crazy to think, but I am already planning for September and have a handful of designs set- if you have any suggestions, I always love to hear…old prints coming back or something new, share your ideas! I won’t be posting much for the next little while but please tag me in your adventures this summer with your kids’ olive me 💗

There will be organic leggings, shorts, rompers and newborn bundles…these are the prints that will be available in leggings. Tune in to stories today for a preview of all prints as well as all the need-to-know details for how everything works here. If you are new to olive me, please read this post and watch stories, all of the most frequently asked questions are answered here.

Sell out often happens fast, the best advice is to be right on time for the release, have an account set up ahead of time, be signed in before 9am and finally, check out fast as carts do not hold items. Also use a payment method that has all of your info pre-entered (ApplePay, ShopPay, Paypal etc).

Multiple orders are more than welcome! For multiple orders under the same name, I will automatically combine, no need to email requests for this. Please only send an email if the name or address are different or you’d like to combine with a friend.

When combining orders, please note that most orders over $75 can only ship expedited -there are occasional exceptions for smaller sized items but as a general rule, any more than 2 items and the order ships expedited. With rompers, I can usually fit 2 rompers in lettermail, if you are charged for expedited but want to know if your order can go lettermail instead, just email me tomorrow afternoon.

It is a long process to get through orders on release days and I don’t read emails and social media replies until mid afternoon.

Can’t get enough of chicken prints here! These leggings will be available on Monday at 9am mountain time, along with a full collection of summer goodness…and the last drop of shorts and rompers this year.

I’m also adding in something new-ish in this drop, there will be “Mystery Prints” of leggings, rompers and shorts that I have sampled over the season: these are all sized 6-12m in a variety of prints that will be a complete surprise to order. The listings are up on the website now (but not available to purchase until Monday morning) for anyone who’d like to read the details ahead of time.

Whale Song 🐋

A staple print here, I’ve had a few versions of this beautiful whale design over the years …and this is the latest one to join the line up!
And with the most perfect coordinating cuff colour - I don’t ever mention this but if you know me well, choosing the right cuff to go with a print is a BIG deal, I will often pass up a new sample design if the cuff colour isn’t right. One of my favourite parts of working with new designs is this - most of the time it’s an easy no second guessing choice, other times I agonize for days going back and forth over a few options 😅

These are the 9 prints that will be stocked in shorts, they are available in sizes 6-12m, 12-24m, 2-3T and 4-5T. There will also be 8 print options in leggings, and 7 prints for rompers..previews all coming before Monday.

Bedtime stories were really important with my kids as they grew up…a favourite book of my youngest was Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site. These two rompers are part of the June Collection of the spring/summer line up coming soon! It has been so full speed on the sewing front that I haven’t had a chance to get many photos taken yet, get ready for them to come all at once ahead of the drop 😅 Just waiting on the final delivery of fabric rolls due to arrive tomorrow and then the goal is to share the drop date by early this coming week, so much summer goodness in this collection, can’t wait to share it all with you guys.

Also, just want to thank all of you who have been tagging and sharing your photos with me, I ADORE seeing your kids in their olive me, especially now that the nicer weather is here and it is get outside and explore time!

Wild Horses

A new version of a beloved design, some of you will recognize these gorgeous horses. I tossed around some ideas with to bring a southwestern vibe to her horses and here is her beautiful outcome, hope you guys love this one as much as I do! Esther’s designs have been an integral part of olive me for 10 years now and I’m so happy to share this new work, coming this month in final drop of the season!

Summer Flowers

I just cut my first lilac bunches from my garden this morning and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have fresh flowers growing outdoors again and to see all the greenery flourishing. These beautiful floral leggings are part of the June Collection coming in a few weeks!

Have I mentioned how much I adore these garden Snail leggings? And Elle looking so sweet in them 🐌

There is just one more spring/summer drop coming up in June and holy moly, the pace is on fire over here getting ready for it! I have a goal date but not sure yet if I’ll make it, hoping to confirm that soon and share all of the beautiful leggings, rompers and shorts that will be in this collection ☀️

These fun leggings were such a hit, and honestly they are also so fun to make, can’t wait to see more kids wearing them again this year.

Good morning Tuesday, hope you all had a great long weekend!
Happy to share that all packages from Thursday’s drop were mailed this morning, olive me mail is heading out across North America from Yellowknife NT and Whitehorse YT, to Sooke BC and Dartmouth NS, over to Pearl River NY and down to Austin TX, then all the way to Makawao Hawaii…and all of the places in between, I get such a kick out seeing where your orders are going!!

There will be one more spring/summer drop in June before the shop closes up for summer break, can’t wait to show you guys the next collection ☀️

Thank you so much to each and every single one of you who took the time order today and those who tried but got the dreaded sold out notice, summer items went especially well quick. It’s so hard to know what to expect these days as it is very much a changed path for small businesses these days that rely on social media. I am so grateful for all of you who continue to support and help this business thrive.
Also stoked to be reaching two big milestones with olive me: today surpassed over 20000 website orders (that is 100% all handmade items, I wish I knew how many individual pieces that is) and next month I will hit a big sales number I didn’t even was achievable 🙌🏼

It feels like this season has been going by so fast, there is just one more spring/summer release to go…seeing how fast rompers and shorts went today, I will likely focus mostly on them for the June drop…I have a lot of the next line up set already but please do share what you’d like to see come back from today. Stoked to share these two rompers that will be coming in June: Deep Sea & Dinos!

And now it’s back to work-shipping refunds for those that apply will be coming in over today and tomorrow-for those that placed orders of two items including a romper, most of the time I can fit these in lettermail, if you were charged expedited but prefer lettermail, email me and I’ll see if your order fits. For multiple orders, I will always try to go lettermail when possible, but once there are larger items, and/or more than two items, it’s not always possible, but as I pack up, I often get a few more refunds sent out as I figure out what fits.
Please note it can take up to 24hrs for the shipping refunds to show up on your end after I send them through.
After packing up over the next couple of days, all orders will ship on out Tuesday morning.

Pacific Beach 🏝️🏄🏽‍♂️

This print was chosen while I was on holiday in southern California. Hanging out on the beach for hours at a time, watching the locals surf from sunrise to sunset and seeing so many cool old vehicles with their surf boards attached.
