The above quotation teaches us about how the believer need to proof him/herself during trial season.
Is Christianity a problem free religion?
In Mathew 3:13-17, Our Lord Jesus Christ came to River Jordan to baptise, immediately after His baptism heaven open to him and a voice confirming His Lordship. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. After His long fast then came the devil 😈 to tempt Him.
Our Lord Jesus Christ had to go through these series of temptation before His elevation. Mathew 4:11, that is; " Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and administered to Him".
The believer must understand to endure as much as possible your form of temptation, which could be hunger, loss of financial assets, losing your love one, saying no to s*x for job and promotion etc.
Lord Jesus you understand our pain, tears and the trauma we're trying to endure, let your sufficient Grace 🙏 help us to overcome these challenges in Jesus name.
