Perception Magazine is Syracuse University's only arts and literary magazine! We accept art and writing from SU undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff. Our Story

Perception Magazine is Syracuse University's only arts and literary magazine! We accept art and writing from SU undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff. Submissions are accepted throughout the year at our email account [email protected].

We accept poetry, prose, fiction, non-fiction, creative non-fiction, photography, and photos/scanned images of any kind of artwork.

Written work can be in a different language but requires translation with your submission.

We ask that writing submissions are sent as a Word Document no longer than 10 pages with no more than 5 submissions per person. Please title submissions as LastNameFirstName_Title.

Art/Photography should be sent as a PDF or JPEG titled LastNameFirstName_Title.

Details about submission deadlines for specific semesters will be posted on our page.
