Last Camping Trip of the Season in the Books!

We spent 30 nights in the trailer this season! So grateful we got to cap it off with a weekend in one of our favourite places in Colorado…Leadville!

Next week will be the first time they are at a different since Ben started Kindergarten and Olivia was home with me.

We are soaking up the last few days of summer! I hope you are too!

Middle School!

In 10 days we will be parents of a middle schooler! I am not ready but excited for him to spread his wings!

Grit and Determination! I am so proud of this man!

Watching him set the goal to do the and then accomplish that goal has been amazing!

This race was 50 miles of mountain biking between 10,000 and 12,000 feet of elevation! Not an easy task!

Thank you Sierra for your expertise in guiding Tim to this goal!

Grief is unpredictable. Grief is not linear. Grief looks different every day. Grief is hard.

I have spent the last two days working from my parents house in my mom’s office. It has been hard and gosh I miss her.

I went for a walk today and it reminded me that nature can be so healing. Being outside has always one of my favourite places.

Here is to spending more time outside ❤️

Family Ski Day at We have been waiting a long time just be able roll up to the mountain and just ski! We had a blast just skiing with the kids!

The first Christmas without my mom has had its ups and downs. Spending time together as a family has made it a little easier.

I am looking forward to 2024 with more healing, movement, outdoor time and finding joy in the every day ❤️

This kid worked his butt off this weekend. 5 games, 121 shots, 87% save percentage and all in 3 days!

Back to my ballet roots! 🩰

I am so proud of myself for stepping back in to my ballet shoes this year after 20 years!

Dancing brings so much joy to my life and being on stage lights me up!!

6 years In Colorado!

The past few months have been hard but Colorado and our amazing community down here have been a bright light!

We are so grateful for our friends who have become family!

Pneumonia recover is no joke!

I am slowly returning to myself after a month. Back at the beginning of September I was quite sick and ended up having pneumonia and spending three nights in the hospital on oxygen. The last time I was in the hospital, Olivia was born 🤣.

I have been giving myself lots of grace and taking it day by day, but I am finally really starting to feel like myself again!

Low impact rides and walks are where I’m at right now hoping to get back to my level of intensity that I had at the beginning of August!

Mommy Daughter Date Days!

Do you spend time one on one with each kiddo?

Here are a few of my fav date days:
1️⃣Run an errand together and then get a sweet treat.
2️⃣ Plan to eat together at a new spot
3️⃣ Do an activity together but the kids get to choose the activity

Making time to connect with each kid can be so fun and I often find out the best things about what is going on at school!

I still don’t have words….the past two weeks have been beyond hard…my sweet mother passed away very suddenly on August 9th.

My heart is heavy 💔 I love you mom.

Beyond grateful for this experience! Being able to spend the night singing and dancing with my daughter is a core memory for sure!! ❤️
