Richard “Red” Skelton started his career in a traveling medicine show, and eventually grew his entertainment career as one of the top comedic stars with MGM and had his own radio show.
Red Skelton was a master when it came to ad-libs and improvisation which helped promote his show into one of the top 10 programs to see. His ability to create characters such as Clem Kadiddlehopper, Junior the “Mean Widdle Kid”, Deadeye, W***y Lump Lump, and many more endeared him to audiences all over.
