Great night at last night for , loved getting to play live again, thanks to everyone who came down, we had a blast. Also big up to the bands we played with , lovely stuff. See you all soon….
Nearly here. Our first show in 9 years, mostly new songs with a couple of favourites. Still the riffy, shouty, loud, epic-ness everyone was aware of in 2006-2015. We are on EARLY, like a delicious starter. On stage 7.15 sharp. Big thanks to for the loan of some drums and cabs. Big love. Can’t wait.
Played the island bar a fair few times in our pre-hiatus days. Shame it’s shut down now, was a cool venue although not sure the staff were a fan of loud shouty rock action. ANYWAY. Saturday, next Saturday. We are back. On very early. Be there for 7.
What’s this? A shot from our last show at Scruffy Murphy’s of all places. Feb 2015. Played with (who were amazing) and played two songs never to be played again! Thanks for the picture. Remember to come and see us on the 27th of Jan at the Flapper to see a bunch of new songs (and a couple of oldies)
Found this framed poster in my loft. Good times with the Wayter and Codex Leicester boys. I ripped my trousers at this show I think, had to borrow some from our friend Bryan…
Found this old video from a show in West Brom. Pic of Steve because he is a beautiful chap. https://youtu.be/VrAxmEmyRR8?si=Q7ddEL0U7ggsa7E3
Good times in France in 2000s. Miss that Les Paul. Why did I swap it for an 8 string? Anyway, can’t wait to get back onstage in January
A few years ago our good friend did an amazing cover of ‘this is where the cat lives’ from our second record Materioptikon. Nick is an absolutely amazing pianist and composer who also played piano on Vultures of the Arctic. Give .music a follow and have a listen to this epic cover https://youtu.be/-plRbsMHUbc?si=Iyv__9n3bVoxo5t6
First gig back! Riff action for the new year. Let us know if you are going to come down. Any requests?
We are back. Riff power and volume. More info coming soon.
So, 10 and a bit years after the last time we put music out we present something new! This track was recorded by us in our lock up this summer (2023) together with around 6 others. They were meant as demos but we wanted to show off what we have been doing ‘proper’ recording is likely to now be 2024.
So, 2 mins of p***y noise called Centipede Centrepiece, a song about buying a nice statement bit of home decorating and the perils of your choice.
Available on all streaming services and bandcamp.
Let us know what you think

Playing the classic ‘can you max out the Noise app’ . Turns out we can!
I made Stu a present while he gets his Fender Twin fixed.
12 years ago, demoing in the lock up. Different lock up, but same plan for this summer
It’s here! More to come!
Coming soon to all steaming services, finally!

July 2012, recording Our Disintegrating Museum at Axis Studios, Doncaster. Matt Elliss captured the sound we were looking for perfectly. When we decided to call it a day in 2015 we were happy with this as our Magnum Opus, but now we’re making music again this is the bar we’re trying to clear.
July 2013, playing with our boys Arbor Lights at their launch show, Awesome times, loved the Rainbow courtyard for shows
August 2007, Sheffield, fun night, tried to convince James to jump in a fountain then slept in our cars. This was our first ever tour, good times had by all.
Since we went on what turned out to be an extended hiatus in 2015 we haven’t been completely inactive, this was our first post io gig, an acoustic set at Maisie’s first birthday party in 2017. I can neither confirm or deny whether we gave them a rendition of 5 ton man
We played at the Sunflower lounge a lot over the years, including great shows with Maybeshewill, And so I watch you from Afar, Death of London and Shapes to name a few. This gig was 2008 I think… original photo by Fraser West (follow )
