We are in Harbor Springs, Michigan for the 48th annual 4th of July art show (our third year). Margot has been a faithful Fruthie every year, taking home a beautiful cherry blossom agate necklace and pair of earrings today!

Caitlynn from Ann Arbor (and Whitehall) picked up a few necklaces and hairsticks while visiting us today at the Muskegon Lakeshore Art Festival. The weather is GREAT!

Introducing 2024’s edition of Stories By Design: "Foil Fairies and Lapis!"

Every Mother’s Day, the Ferne Ruth company debuts a new design for our jewelry, which includes an inspirational story written by author and jewelry designer Laurie Copeland.

This year‘s story is about how we all want to feel special and loved as evidenced when Laurie and her friend Debbie would make aluminum foil royal crowns for their appreciative friends! :-)

Brooke just couldn’t pass up our hairsticks and fun earrings at the St. Pete Beach show today. When I made the earring pair that [intentionally] don’t match I just knew just the right person would love them, and Brooke did!

It’s a perfectly beautiful weekend at the Port St. Lucie Craft Festival. We’re located on the square at Tradition Village Center, near Town Hall.

So grateful for the award I won this weekend at the Cocoa Village Spring Art & Craft Fair! I never intend to compete with gold and silver, but apparently the judges thought differently 😊🎉 The pieces that won are made with Roman glass: Roman glass jewelry is made from ancient glass that was unearthed from Roman ruled Israel around 2,000 years ago. The glass is often aqua and iridescent in color, and is sought after for its historical significance and beauty. Roman glass jewelry is often handcrafted using fragments of the ancient glass.

It’s a beautiful day in Ann Arbor! This is our final show of the Michigan Summer Tour 2023.

It’s a beautiful day at the National in Traverse City, MI. Sandy from Petoskey found the perfect earrings to match her… Vintage gold 1976 GMC motorcoach! 😁 Well that’s a Ferne Ruth Co. first. We can match anything!

Every year on Mother’s Day I introduce a new “Stories By Design” earring creation and this year it’s entitled “Life Is Messy”. The design features an interwoven sphere of silver wire encircled by a hoop, representing God’s loving arms around our messy lives. The first pair were purchased today by Alesa at the Dunwoody Art Show.

Every Mother's Day, I design and create a new jewelry theme to accompany a faith-based story I've written. So when you give a gift to Mom for Mother's Day, you not only give her a handmade gift of jewelry, you give her a story of hope!

Who knows more about life being messy, than moms? This year, our inspirational story is entitled, "Life is Messy" and how we need Jesus to help us navigate through all the messiness. This is my story of suddenly realizing the messiness of life is exactly why I need Jesus!

Here are the two designs: the ball represents our messiness and the hoop surrounding it represents Jesus' loving arms. Our prayer is that every time you wear these earrings, you are reminded of His care for us!

Samantha & Josefina picked up some hairsticks and earrings today at the Juno Beach ArtFest by the Sea. It’s been a great weekend!

Downtown Dunedin is lit today! Great weather, lots of cool things to see and buy, and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Tattoo artist, Emily got some custom-made tassel earrings this morning and decided to come back and get more 😊
