These will be featuring in some of the upcoming care packages for adults 😊❤️
Thank you to the person who sent a donation of these gorgeous Tubie Tapes. Tubie tape is used to hold nasal feeding tubes or nasal prong oxygen in place and can make it less intimidating for children and young people and also just make it easier for even adults dealing with medical devices. Thank you so much to Toni for their kind donation of £20 😊🥺 Truly these donations mean so much and it helps me continue to do what I love to do, make care packages for those struggling in life. If anyone would like to donate there are a couple of ways:
PayPal: https://www.paypal.me/sendasmilecare (money goes towards buying items to put in the care packages as well as getting envelopes to send the packages in and also to help cover postage costs)
Amazon wish list: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3OCOKGSYNK9E3?sort=default&fbclid=PAAaaThoNYbeWTwjTXhZyGsLWiNjFYCqI8sliqRrx7fkkBVbiOE3RS6KQO30Y_aem_ATVpPP15Mg67O2atwdE0VVgT7o11UfA1P72n_4suEU9rCEF56TYeMUAwgmDgf9OgFug (you can pick items to send via our Amazon wish list, there’s many different types of items all varying costs)
If you are interested in sending items direct to us please message and I can give you an address or if you’d like to sponsor a package I can give you details, you can also buy items for a package yourself too please get in touch if you’d be interested. If you do either of these and would like a note will be placed in the care package telling the person who receives it the package was put together/sponsored by yourself 😊
Thank you so much to Michael for his very kind donation to the project 😊 Best birthday present I could have received! I can’t wait to spread more smiles to those who so deserve it ❤️
How we Started and what our Criteria for Eligability are
I set up Send A Smile Care Packages in December 2016 as part of working towards competing in my first beauty pageant. Initially I decided to send free care packages to people of all ages, within the UK, who live with chronic illnesses, disabilities and mental health problems. On reaching the 3rd year of the project running it expanded to also encompass more categories of people who would be eligible for a care package.
Recipients must be in the UK and fit one of these criteria:
-live with cancer, chronic illnesses, disabilities, mental health problems, special needs and/or be terminally ill
-have a partner that lives with any of the above
