Happy November!! We are all super excited for what's ahead for us in the month of November, but let's recap lovely October first!

At the beginning of the month, one of our artists, Sidney Mori (sidneymori.com) showed her video piece "Errands" in London, UK for ART LICKS Weekend with North and Found. Wow, Wow, Wow.

Then, PDM16 went through midterms critique. We are really excited about our thesis exhibition for 2016! There is a lot of exceptional artwork in the making, so make sure to check us out on April 9th, at Rudolph Blume Gallery. :)

We closed off the month with artist Angel Lartigue (angeluchx.tumblr.com) speaking about his work with Aletheia at the Nook Cafe. It was a lovely turn out and Angel received a great response! Amazing!

We are excited here at PDM16 to announce the curators for our senior thesis exhibition: Sarah Sudhoff and Allison Pappas!

Sarah Sudhoff is a fine art photographer and the Executive Director at the Houston Center for Photography. She holds an MFA in photography from Parsons School of Design in New York City as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. Allison Pappas is the Assistant Curator of Photography at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. She received her MA in art history from Williams College and her BA in Art History and Anthropology from Brown University. She has been with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston since 2012. Tomorrow, Sept. 24, she presents the exhibit "Roman Vishniac Rediscovered". It will be showing through January 3, 2016.
