Barris Kustom Is Closing After 60 Years: HOT ROD's Final Visit George Barris’ famous custom car shop, Barris Kustom, is closing. HOT ROD’s Tim Bernsau visited the shop and talked with Barris’ daughter, Joji, to reminisce and see what comes next.

Built by 2 brothers. This thing is beautiful and the fit and finish is better than BMW could have done. Right place, right time.
