HRC Youth Camp

We are committed to leading youth to a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ while rocking the cool

The Hungarian Reformed Church Youth Camp is an organization that runs a week-long summer camp at Laurelville Mennonite Church Center (http://www.laurelville.org/) in Ligonier, PA every year. With a long standing history of Biblical teachings blended with plain old camp fun, HRC Youth Camp is an excellent opportunity for young people everywhere. Both the Junior Camp (ages 9-11) and the Youth Camp (ages 12-18) are week-long, stay-overnight camps usually in the third week of July.

So, what do you think we should do for a main topic for Camp next year? A theme, if you will.

My principal asked all of the teachers to pick a "walk up song" as if we were professional baseball players walking up to bat. I went with the first song that popped in my head...I'll bet you recognize it!
Have you thought about what your walk up song would be?

With great sadness we share the news of the passing of a former Camper. Matt Britto went to be with the Lord today. May he find rest in the arms of Jesus.

I passed a car wash with this saying on it and immediately thought of our camp theme this year. So often, we want to stick with what we know and what’s comfortable, and we want something new to come from it. But it’s when we try new things and trust God that new doors and opportunities open. “We’ve always done it this way” doesn’t lead to new results, and a lot of times, it means we’re trusting ourselves and not God. Spend some time in prayer with Him, listen to what He wants you to do, and go open some new doors!
