A good afternoons work by the Waterways Group-
On 16 November 2023 volunteers cleared vegetation near the bottom end of the Mill Lade. The work has improved the view of the lade and its confluence with the Gala Water.

On 03 March volunteers remove a suitcase and collected one bin-bag (9 kg) of litter from the lade at Aldi.

Good work by GWG volunteers-
On 26 September volunteers removed a traffic cone from the Fountain, and a plastic chair, the base of a traffic cone and a small no-waiting cone from nearby culverts.
