In less than 24 hours we start the State Tourney! Doors open at 8am, and first event kicks off at 9am. Thanks to Eagles Club #34 in Minneapolis for hosting, and they will have breakfast available and food running all day. Deadman Darts will be on site as well, serving up darts supplies for those in need of some updates to your darts equipment.

Who wants to play in a long-format singles 501 league? We're thinking single in, double out, best of 9 legs.

Our friends at Number 12 Cider in Minneapolis have a fantastic space to throw steel-tip, and we think it's a great opportunity to add a format we know people are excited about to hone their game. Sunday afternoons, probably starting at 1pm.

Time to mark our calendars for three key dates! Captains we have the Fall meeting on 5 Sept, the week before season's start on 12 Sept. Get a jump on things and start confirming your teams and venue (if necessary) now! Then about a month later we have the Minnesota State Tournament, on 14 October at the Eagles 34 in Minneapolis!!

For Classic AA, it's a little murky telling all the standings as the season winds down, with several makeup matches to be played plus a few scores not in the system yet. What we do know is that The 3rd Dart has the title sorted out. The rest we'll have to wait and see! Shoot well everyone (and turn in your scores! LOL)!!

We had so much fun at Dartmania 2023! Here’s a few pics from the weekend, and cannot wait to see everyone next year!

This was the 20th ever hosting of the Dartmania Extravaganza -- a few years later than we planned (thanks a lot, COVID-19!), but hey ... we got to have it!

And where do I start with the thank you's? We had a great weekend of steel-tip darts, celebrating friendships new and old, relishing competition, having a great time, and there a lot of thank you's to share.

First of all, THANK YOU to the players who joined us! There's no tournament without you. Thank you to the locally-based TCDA members who played, those non-members from the local area, and also those of you who came from waaaay far away! We are so honored you spent time with us! And for those who held down the fort while you joined us, thank you to your spouses, significant others, family, friends, pet-sitters, and who knows what else I am forgetting for being those 'enablers' who let you join us. Those are some unsung heroes, for sure.

Then, thank you SO MUCH to the volunteers and the TCDA Tournament Committee Members for putting all the work in behind the scenes. It's a lot of work to put one of these on. I'll name names: Mike Anderson, Kirk & Sara McCamish, Greg Oldenkamp, Margo Ulrich and her two nieces, Jeff Hafner & Sue Belland, Jake Portinga, David Lawrence (thanks for the power drill especially!), and I'm probably leaving someone out -- we appreciate it ALL, and cannot do it without you.
