Hand Brake Torque Indicator

A simple device that provides clear indication of applied torque to the railcar hand brake.

The Hand Brake Torque Indicator (BTI) is a direct replacement for traditional vertical railcar hand brake wheel and hub assemblies as defined in AAR S-475. The BTI eliminates the uncertainty of properly setting the hand brake by providing a visual indication of torque applied to the railcar hand brake.
