I’m so proud of myself. I got so much swatching done this weekend that I am all done through the beginning of December! After my swatch-a-thon, I made a little pile of new to me polishes that I haven’t had a chance to use yet, and this one was calling my name.
Here’s two perfect coats of No Salt, No Worries, which was an exclusive for Minneapolis. I managed to snag this when Mariah listed the leftovers from the show in her shop. It is stunningly gorgeous and the formula was perfection! Swipe through to see my shot and get a look at all those lovely little silver holo shards. I stamped over this mani, too...actually did both hands! So I’ll post my stamped mani next.
Who else loves this color as much as I do?!

Personal story time: Madonna’s True Blue album was the first cassette tape I ever purchased all on my own. It came out in 1986 and I would have been three years old. I definitely wasn’t three when this happened, but I remember really wanting the tape and having birthday money burning a hole in my ... whatever a 4/5 year old keeps money in? I was at the mall with my parents and we went into Record Town so I could buy it. They made me ask for help from the employees on my own, and pay for it myself, too. I remember feeling like such a grown up! That may have been my first of my life, now that I think of it! 😂

Perseids is a gorgeous navy jam packed full of holo flakies. This polish dries to a matte finish, but I couldn’t resist bringing out the sparkle with glossy topcoat. Perseids is part of the Fall Mattes collection and is available on the Stella Chroma site.

I knew I had to have this polish the moment I saw it and learned its name. The Perseids meteor shower happens every year around the second week of August. The peak typically falls between the 11th and 13th - and in 2008 the peak was the 13th at like 3 in the morning. The reason I remember it so well is because my first date with my husband was to a lake in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night to lay on the beach and watch shooting stars 8/13/08. It was such a perfect night! Since then we have made it a point to catch the Perseids and often go camping in northern Michigan for awesome viewing. We got engaged under the Perseids at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in 2013, and just this past summer celebrated ten years together under the Perseids in Mackinaw, Michigan at Headlands Dark Sky Park. Magical! 🌌🌠💙🌠🌌
