New Arrival! ✨ We've brought in some great neutral shades of both wide wale and traditional 21 wale corduroy for fall! Both types have a little bit of spandex that was *love* making pieces just that little bit more comfy.

We tried it. It didn't work. Shipping costs has become our #1 threat to the viability of our business. So we had to try to change some things up. We've accepted that taking free shipping off the table during our site wide sales did not work and we've put it back on.

Customers who purchased during the sale that met the threshold before taxes and after the discount were all refunded their shipping earlier today as we felt that was only fair.

Let's talk excellent basics fabrics - enter the h**p & organic cotton jersey. Look at some of your favorite store bought tee shirts, they typically don't have Lycra or spandex content. Some of our favorite fabrics are the ones that don't have spandex in them. They last a long time, hold the shape and style you sewed them in for a long time and are great for basic wardrobe staples. Shop these guys in the online store ❤️

Can we all agree that yellow dresses just always look happier than other dresses? 🤣😍 We're loving this easy breezy summer dress make by using our double gauze in bumblebee 🐝🐝 Pattern is Cannes!

We have some super cute colours of Terry toweling in the shop! We love seeing these used for reteo-style shorts and super cute cover-ups for the lake or the pool! Such a fun fabric for summer!

Our newest additions to our organic cotton jersey knits have arrived from Sweden and they're SO. GOOD.

We continue to bring in Elvelyckan Designs because we strongly feel the quality of their fabrics is one of the best when it comes to printed jersey knits. They stand up to the tough life our littles put them through - stains come out, colours stay true with lots of wear. The price point might seem high, but we absolutely believe they're worth it. Importing fabrics from Europe has become increasingly more expensive over the last 5 years and we've stopped carrying many of them. But these we will always carry. We like that it's organic, we like that it's printed in Europe and we like the quality ♥️

Swim & French Florals? 😍✨🔥

It seems like everyone but me is on a beach right now and I'm juuuust a little jelly 🤣
So instead I'll start lining up swim makes for the summer including a suuuuper cute suit in this lovely swim print in recycled poly from Lise Tailor. We have a bit in stock but not a huge amount and likely will not be restocking it.

We are huge fans of merino wool. This one in particular is one of our faves. Manufactured in Vietnam, this 100% wool is soft, has mechanical stretch for comfort and is both OEKO-TEX certified and RWS certified (responsible wool standard.) There's so much to love about this fabric.

We *know* it's on the pricier side. Bringing in more ethically farmed and then manufactured fabrics always tips up the cost. We try to keep them as low as we possibly can (a non-shopable warehouse, minimal staffing costs, located outside a large city center, not too many bells and whistles) but some of these guys have a higher price tag for us to bring in period. But we know there's value in them with the quality so we'll keep bringing them in! 💚

✨ Great Basics ✨ The bamboo rib knit in black and sand are 👌👌👌 for those wardrobe basics that everyone needs. Little black dress, tank top for under blazers, bodysuit to pair with some dress pants or wide leg jeans.. the list goes on!
