Inspiring you to find inner peace and calm, through Meditation, Reiki, Shamanism and Self-discovery.
Forge a new path. Be open to a new direction. Listen with your heart. All will b revealed.
Today I remember my Dad, who was a WWII Veteran, and who taught me all about the importance of Peace. Working at Dimensions Retreats for Veterans with PTSD my heart is so moved, and I remember them, and the fallen who never came home. Lest we forget. Let us invite peace into our hearts and minds.
When you greet the morning looking like this…true awe at the beauty of this earth! When you meditate let your intention be a soft as this rising mist. Allow the beauty and stillness within to just rise up. Sit. Be still. Let the fog clear and the still waters be revealed.
And another wave of breath…and another…and another. A beautiful (if chilly) meditation on Georgian Bay this morning.
Spent some quiet time ‘in the flow’ with beading this week. First attempt at an Orange Shirt pin. Every Child Matters. I’m really pleased with how it turned out, as I was just winging it! Truth and Reconciliation begins in our hearts.
Spent a wonderful morning working with
Todd Cartwright building a hand-drum. I Love it when the hands are guided!!
Mervin Windsor, Haisla- artist. “Unity,”
acrylic on paper (1998).
I am always learning. My previous post shares the work of non-Indigenous artist Jennifer Adomeit that she apparently created while taking a First Nations Art class. It is an appropriation of the original artwork. See the link below to learn more…

In learning about the truth in my error, I can only say that we are all just learning to navigate this path together. The greater communication here is giving proper credit to Mervin for his work and vision and an invitation to our larger community to know, we may all make mistakes, blunders, say or do the wrong thing (from time to time) but if we do it with pure intent, and are willing to make course corrections we can all grow in the process.
When art speaks louder than words.
Today, National Indigenous Peoples Day has been forged in the fires of Colonialsm. A day in which we are reminded to celebrate Indigenous Culture, and those that inhabited this land in the time before. The changes that have happened can not be undone. But we can remember, honour, act with compassion and equanimity. We can forge a new future that honours this lands First peoples, and then from this place grow a healthier global community.
As a Metis person who was adopted at a very young age, today I reflect on who am I by blood, by upbringing, by heart and by Soul.
So blessed to have spent this morning with Christine Patton building her very own drum. We were gifted with the energy of the White Buffalo, and the Deer who watched as we brought her Spirit to sing again. As always, leaning into the imperfections and beauty of life and embracing the journey in the present moment.
This path is magical. Everything is in alignment.
Today is Red Dress Day…the day to create awareness around the Missing Murdered Indigenous Women Girls and 2 Spirited people. Take a moment to reflect and remember those that were lost and those that have lost loved ones. Help to create awareness and education, and in doing so be a catalyst for change.
My photo courtesy of the and thanks for allowing me to be a helper to hang the red dresses, and also for their efforts in sound allyship.
Making an Indigenous hand-drum is such a beautiful experience. Totally enjoyed every minute of helping Tina Moonstone Medium create her very own today. Making my Metis ancestors proud! Another drum beating in concert with Mother Earth and Grandmother Moon.
On Feb 25th my friends and I are walking to raise money to help support families in need. On the Coldest Night of the Year…hoping we can think more about community and caring. If you want to help me support go to cnoy.org to donate.
Stillness has a Sound
Stillness has a sound
so profound
I become lost in the
buzz and hum
of being ONE.
One with the Creator,
the moon, the stars,
Breathing mountains
and lakes, and swaying
trees in the breeze.
Being One with All That Is,
The Great Mystery
that is also within me.

Congratulations Reiki 2 practitioners…beyond grateful to have shared another day of Reiki, growth and transformation with you all.
Reiki Level 2 Training today! Healers in the house!!!
What a gift it was to share the healing energy of Reiki with these four beautiful souls today! Each came with their own unique story and motivation to learn about Reiki…and all contributed deeply to the joy of the day! So wonderful to be teaching again. I am grateful! (See you all in 4 weeks for Level 2).
There is light everywhere. Sometimes you just have to look to see it. We are stardust.
New growth is always possible. So we’ve had this lilac bush since we moved here 6 years ago, and it never bloomed. I have very fond memories of my home and family growing up, and a lilac bush at the back of our yard, with the beautiful brilliant colours and the deep exhilarating fragrance.
I had almost given up on our lilac but last fall I cut it WAY back…removing all the old dead branches, trimming away all of the excess and old, stagnant stuff to make the way for new growth. Aren’t we just like these plants? Sometimes we just have to clear away the old patterns to make way for something new. Sometimes we just need the season to change from winter to spring, and the sun to warm our hearts. So excited to see these new buds!
Healing is only a step away. Be open. See the world from a place of Love.
Reiki Level 2 Training today! Always so grateful to share the natural healing of energy of Reiki with others for the benefit of healing the planet.
At peace amongst all my relations…the standing tree nation.
I meant to post this on the weekend…it was so wonderful to share Reiki training with these two beautiful Souls on Saturday! It never ceases to amaze me the coincidences, explorations, and deep transformation that happens we we gather together.
Reiki Level 1 Training today. The joy of digging in deep to share healing Light and Energy with others warms my heart.
Invite PEACE. It’s as simple as that. If you need to change your narrative, let go of others opinions of you, move past the busy-ness of your mind…invite PEACE into your heart and into each step you take.
