My evening smoothie - hazelnut milk, one whole banana, h**p seeds, chia seeds, a little scoop of protein powder and a little bit of Manuka honey 😋😋😋❤️🙏
I’m currently taking steroids due to my illness flare, so I get quite hungry after my evening meal (!) and this smoothie keeps the hunger under control and stops naughty snacking 🙌

Hi everyone!

I’m so sorry it’s been AGES since I posted properly on here. I’ve been having pretty terrible flare ups of my illness (myasthenia gravis) since January of this year.
It’s been quite a roller coaster and some dark days, I tell you. I’ve also had to succumb to taking pretty heavy pharmaceuticals - and you know I’m not a fan.

Anyhooooo, I’m working on a few things and my healing and stress management are vital. I’m also reviewing my diet so stay tuned for a lot more news on here and a LOT more engagement. I’ve got a story to tell so I will be posting on a more regular basis from now on 🙌🙌🙌
Living with a chronic condition can be so challenging for all involved. My family has had a great deal to manage this year with my two longer hospital visits... but we are a strong unit and learning from each experience.

I hope to provide more advice for those of you living with illness - your own or a family member or friend.

For now I am enjoying a bit of relaxation in the sun before the summer school holidays come to an end. It’s been an odd summer - not what I planned - but then again sometimes planning is overrated!!! 🧐😏

I’ll be back soon.
