I have set the LORD always before me; because HE is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. Psalms 16:8‭-‬9

It's easy to have faith in GOD when things are smooth and favourable. But many people abandon their faith in GOD when they face adversities in life. It's our trust in GOD that keeps us strong in the midst of trials. Therefore let's be strong in GOD and HIS WORD that we may always be unshaken, whether the times are good or bad.

Oftentimes, being in the Will of God is the reason for the challenges you face because the enemy fears your future. Stay rooted. God knows to make a way for you!

I planted, Apollos watered, but GOD gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but GOD who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labour. I Corinthians 3:6‭-‬8.

Many people boast of what they accomplish for the Kingdom of GOD. But let's always remember that we have nothing to be proud of no matter what we do for GOD. Therefore let's continue to serve the LORD humbly and silently. It's the LORD who honours us for what we do for HIM.

Then JESUS told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1

Now it came to pass in those days that HE went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to GOD. Luke 6:12

Prayer is not the chanting of some memorized words or verses as many think. It's an unending, spirit to Spirit communication with our HEAVENLY FATHER. Even when we are physically engaged, our spirit is free to communicate with GOD. Therefore let's make sure that our spirit is connected with our FATHER at all times. Let's never say that we are too busy to pray.

Every miracle in the Bible first started out as a problem. God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand HIS wisdom. But we simply have to Trust His Will. God knows the way. He knows what is best for you.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your GOD, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6

When we do things according to the will of GOD, they neither fail nor go wrong because GOD is in total control of them. Therefore let's make it a point to ask for GOD's will in everything we do. Let's not do anything leaning on our own intelligence or strength.

“Don’t you see that I hold each star in place? I speak life into every bloom. Do you really think, I cannot handle your small life? Are your problems too big for me”, says the Lord. TRUST HIM 100%.

Mark 12:30-31
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

Sometimes the most important things are not hard to understand. God wants us to love him with every fiber of our being and to also love those around us. All of his demands on character really boil down to honoring these two great principles that transcend law and bring the character of God to hearts.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up.James 4:10

May I never boast except in the cross of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Galatians 6:14

True humility of the heart is what the LORD expects from every child of GOD. Therefore let's remain humble before HIM when HE honours us or does great things through us. The more the LORD uses us for HIS glory, the humbler we should be so that our hearts will never get prideful.

John 8:24
I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins.

The crucial phrase, somewhat disguised by our translations, is this one: "Unless you believe that I AM, then you will die in your sins." As John so often does, he grabs a simple phrase, fills it full to the brim with meaning, and leads us to see Jesus in a dramatically fresh way. Jesus is I AM, God with us. How could God love us so? We can't know the full answer to this, but we can surely believe and rejoice and live for his glory.

Jeremiah 17:7
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

*Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.* I Corinthians 4:2.

*And I thank CHRIST JESUS our LORD who has enabled me, because HE counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,* I Timothy 1:12.

GOD doesn't look for efficient or educated people to execute HIS divine plans. HE chooses men who faithfully obey HIM and are truly humble at heart. So let's be obedient, faithful and humble before HIM that HIS Sovereign plans may be accomplished through us.

Psalm 34:3
Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.

Isn't it good that we can sing alone and know God loves our song! Isn't it even better that we can join others in songs of praise and lose ourselves in wonder, love, and praise! Let's spend today finding other believers and praising God together. All around the world, hundreds of thousands strong, let's reach out to other believers and ask them to join us in glorifying the Lord!

James 1: 21
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Psalms 71:15 - 17
15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

*‘Ah, LORD GOD! Behold, YOU have made the heavens and the earth by YOUR great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for YOU.* Jeremiah 32:17.

*“BEHOLD, I AM THE LORD, THE GOD OF ALL FLESH. IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME?"* Jeremiah 32:27.

People may discourage you saying, 'It's impossible.' But unlike the people of the world who may lack hope, you have an awesome GOD who makes all things possible for HIS children. Just trust HIM with all your heart. You will surely see how GOD works for those who have faith in HIM.

Proverbs 16:16
How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!

What are the greatest riches in life? Well surely they are not silver and gold. Of infinitely greater value is wisdom, which helps us understand what is valuable, what is true, what is worthy of our heart, and what is not.

*Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of HIS garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.* Luke 8:43‭-‬44.

*And HE said to her, “DAUGHTER, BE OF GOOD CHEER; YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL. GO IN PEACE.”* Luke 8:48.

Perhaps you think that your situation is so complex that no man is able to fix it. But JESUS can resolve any situation, no matter how complex it is. So just trust JESUS and allow HIM to handle it. You will surely see the problem solved in supernatural ways.

Matthew 9:12
On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."

Why did Jesus associate with sinners? Because we need him to associate with us! What's the most crucial part of that truth: Jesus' desire to save or our recognition of our sinfulness? Of course the most crucial part is Jesus' desire to save because without him, recognizing our sinfulness would only lead to despair. But without recognizing our need for his grace, his sacrifice for us is lost. So let's praise Jesus as our loving and sacrificial Savior, but let's also acknowledge our need for his merciful and mighty grace!

2 Corinthians 9:11
You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Why does God bless us with riches? So we can share those riches generously with those in need and so we can bring thanksgiving to God.

Deuteronomy 15:10
10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

*"BUT WHEN YOU GIVE A FEAST, INVITE THE POOR, THE MAIMED, THE LAME, THE BLIND. AND YOU WILL BE BLESSED, BECAUSE THEY CANNOT REPAY YOU; FOR YOU SHALL BE REPAID AT THE RESURRECTION OF THE JUST.”* Luke 14:13‭-‬14.

Often people do their charitable deeds in order to gain popularity or public attention. But as the children of GOD, we do not need fame or good name on earth. Our reward is in heaven. So let's do our righteous deeds silently and for GOD's glory.

*And the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favour both with the LORD and men.* I Samuel 2:26.

*So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of HIS words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD.* I Samuel 3:19‭-‬20.

When the children grow older, the world begins to have its influence on them. Therefore it is extremely important that we bring them up in the fear of GOD even from their young age. Let's fill their hearts with the love of GOD and HIS WORD so they will not deviate from GOD when they grow up.

Psalm 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

At the end of summer's scorching heat, where did you find your shadow of protection and refreshment? When we place our lives in the care of God Most High, we find that his shadow of protection and refreshment covers us. Even in times of difficulty, we know that he has protected us from the worst of Satan's withering attack and that his presence offers us strength that we may not often see but always can trust.

*But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of GOD dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of CHRIST, he is not HIS.* Romans 8:9.

*For as many as are led by the Spirit of GOD, these are sons of GOD.* Romans 8:14.

A true child of GOD is not influenced by the power of the world or the flesh because he is led by the Holy Spirit. His sole intention is to please GOD with his words and actions. Let's allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in every step so we will be able to live a life that completely pleases GOD.

*JESUS said to him, “IF YOU CAN BELIEVE, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES.”* Mark 9:23.

*But JESUS looked at them and said to them, “WITH MEN THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.”* Matthew 19:26.

It's not for the children of GOD to say, 'It's impossible.' Our GOD makes all things possible for those who put their faith in HIM. So just allow GOD to be with you and take the lead. You will surely see miracles happen before you.

"When you entertain sin in your life it subtly entertains you for a while till you get addicted, after which it pays you back with a vengeance after the initial thrill is over because the mystery of sin works against the will of God in rebellion. Thank God for eternal life that God freely gave through Jesus Christ, if not for the blood of Jesus Christ, we would all be in a big mess. Sin thrills but kills the abundant life. Overcoming faith may be hard initially and sacrificial to practice, but the lasting reward will last for this life time which in turn will get multiplied to pay you back dividends for eternity in the after life."

Romans : 8;26
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.

Acts 16:5
So the churches were being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily.

Acts 11:21
And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.

Acts 6:7
The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith.

Acts 2:47
praising God and having favor with all the people And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

*For GOD has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.* II Timothy 1:7.

*I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.* Philippians 4:13.

Sometimes we are too scared to take up a challenge GOD places before us. But the Spirit of GOD will give us the strength and grace to accomplish it. So we do not need to worry at all. We only need to trust GOD and accept it.

Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

The Holy Spirit doesn't just empower us now. He is our guarantee (2 Corinthians 1:22; 5:5) and our assurance that we will see God face to face (1 John 3:1-2) and share in his glory (Colossians 3:1-4). He is alive in us and promises us life that never will end.
