As the year comes to an end, I always spend time reflecting on my year like everyone else. I examine what went well and what needs improvement. What goals are working for me and which ones need to be scratched.

One thing I’m super proud of is the ex*****on of my travel goals. Last year, I made it a goal of mine to visit Africa at least once a year over the next five years. Last year, I traveled to Egypt. This year, I made it to Morocco!

For someone who doesn’t have a 9-5, does not get paid to travel for work (YET), is not a flight attendant, and is raising a 4 year old, my travel life blows me away.

I’m a strong believer that NOTHING in this world is out of reach if you really want it and work hard towards getting it. With 2020 right around the corner, what travel goals have you made?! How can I help you achieve them? Let me know.

Trinidad was cool to me because it didn’t try to amaze me. Although it’s in the Caribbean, Trinidadians don’t thrive off of tourism. Their economy is pretty strong without it. They are all about their business! Tourism is just something extra. No one harassed us. No one haggled us. The views were amazing. The food was amazing. The people were amazing. 📚 If you watch tv, you're bound to be or have been addicted to one, if not all of this woman's shows. For me, it was Grey's Anatomy. EVERYBODY needs to know that Shonda Rhimes runs ABC. Her shows are INCREDIBLE! As for her book, OF COURSE IT'S GOOD! When people ask for book recommendations, this is one of the first ones I mention. Shonda is a prime example of how getting out of your own way can propel you to heights you never thought imaginable for yourself. It's all about redefining yourself and making the most of your life by creating one you LOVE just by saying YES to new opportunities. ✨💛
