Home of the Oklahoma StockDog Association. The new association held its first trial at the 1986 Oklahoma State Fair.
An organization focused on bringing an array of stock dog handlers and enthusiasts together to expand and preserve the sport. The Oklahoma StockDog Association, was created in the 1986 from a group of interested dog trialers and herding enthusiasts. It is comprised of people and dogs that work both cattle and sheep. Creek County Classic SDT
The trial set for this weekend is moved to January 27-28 due to weather. We will be calling all those that were coming to let them know
Many thanks to all who participated in the first MSSA sheepdog trial at the PK Ranch. With the weather looming tomorrow and possible freezing rain, we decided to run both trails today. What a blast! Well, what a muddy blast. OK, it was just MUDDY. But we did have fun. I will post some scores and Highlights tomorrow. Thank you again to all who helped and participated!
Good morning all! If you are attending the MSSA trial at the PK Ranch this weekend, please make sure to wear mud boots. It is going to be fun, but a bit messy. Should have no problems with parking or any other area, the arena will just be mucky. Can't wait to see everyone. Also, I will have coffee and water available (maybe donuts) but don't anticipate we will still be there at lunch time. So I am not preparing food for meals.

Hey all! Just an FYI here since it is a little different than in previous years. The Oaktreee Fall Classic will run Open and Nursery twice on Saturday and once on Sunday. All other classes will run once each day.

Congratulations to our 2023 OSDA Spring Classic Overall Class Champions. Open- Maci McGraw & Elfa Mack, Open Ranch- Kelly Fonkalsrud & Millie, Ranch- Lynze Smith & TipToe, and Novice- Jennifer Patton & Merlin. What a fun weekend it was. Thanks to everyone who came out and to everyone helped put the trial on.
Trial time is getting closer!!!! We want to take a minute to give a big thank you to Phil & Kelly Fonkalsrud for their important roles in the 2023 OSDA Spring Classic.
For the First time in 2023, IT IS TRIAL WEEK IN OKLAHOMA!!!!! The OSDA Spring Classic SDT is this Saturday and Sunday. There have been just a couple of spots open up for entries if you are interested.
Almost time!!!! Just two weeks away from the OSDA Spring Classic!!!! The OSDA is going to have our second trial of the season in May, The Oaktree Spring Classic, hosted by Tom and Ruth Hines. Entries for that trial open on April 1.
Entries for our March trial, the OSDA Spring Classic are now full. So any new entries will be placed on the waiting list.

Hey all, I just wanted to remind everyone again to get entries on for our trial in March, yesterday was the first official entry day and we already have over 40 dogs entered. We are going to cap out at somewhere between 60-70 dogs, so make sure to get your entries in. Thanks guys!!!!

Hello everyone!! As we wrap up 2022 and move into 2023, we are excited to announce our first trial date for 2023 season. March 11-12 we will be hosting the OSDA Spring Classic in Bristow, Oklahoma. There will be more info posted in coming days and updates and flyers will soon be added to barrettmountainbc.com/trialing when we have those. Will be USBCHA sanctioned as well.
