Sourdough Disco

Back at The Bell this Saturday and coincidentally it’s also 5 years since our first Sourdough Disco night at the Old Bookshop back in 2018.

Back then we were lucky enough to have original artwork from our friend and absentee resident at large Carlos Forever who did an awesome job with a shot of the muppets and some day glo marker pens. Since then we’ve been making do with vandalising our own favourite record sleeves with varying results…

We’ll be celebrating with a full crew behind the decks, a couple of bags full of black gold and a few beers, so if you’ve ever played for us, with us or been kind enough to book us please stop by and say hi, we’d love to see you and buy you a pint to say thanks!

Happy Hump Day! Maximum love and respect to all posse & crew - had an absolute blast last night playing some old school hardcore treats in the fantastic Bunker, big up all crew especially and for having us and who straight popped the lid as the night wound out. Great to touch base with old pals and too, such a great event and such lovely weather to truly do it justice. Wybes!!

Digging the black gold in Cornwall once again, this time a tidy stack pulled from a forty minute stop in St Austell where I hit a quality seam of eighties UK reggae 12”s and some high quality US soul LP’s too including a classic Lattimore joint. Decent prices and a peaceful atmosphere too well worth a visit if you are in town, an absolute treat to be on the road in sunny Kernow today.

Saturday night and we are back at the Pipe & Slippers with a sack full of new finds from our January digs. Come though for a Pipe Dream or 2 and cut loose!

We’ll be in the super sleek surroundings of The Red Church spinning a classy all vinyl disco selection on the incredible Pinewood sound system with and at the controls all night.
