CHARITY FUND-RAISING EVENT
PRESS RELEASE
Girls Varsity Swim Meet
Livingston Conference (LCAA) vs Finger Lakes League (FLL)
5th Annual
“DUEL IN THE POOL”
Saturday, September 17, 2022, 10:00 AM start @ Bath-Haverling Aquatics Complex
The Duel’s charity will be Wreaths Across America supporting the Bath National Cemetery. Our contribution remembers and honors our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes. Each Remembrance Wreath costs $15.00. In 2021, more than 6,800 wreaths were placed on the graves in Bath National Cemetery. This being said the meet will be run strictly by volunteers.
Come help us support this charity fund-raising event. A $5.00 admission fee includes a heat sheet.
First day of practice and our dedicated crew was in at 12:01am!!!
Let's go Mustangs! ❤️
The mighty mustang modified swimmers opened up their meet season with a great meet at York Pavillion last night!
Our swimmers showed up to race! Every SINGLE SWIMMER dropped time from their time trial! We won every event! It was a sight to be seen!
Swimmer Shoutouts go to the following athletes:
Jack Hagle: Who dropped 30 seconds in his 50 free!
Georgie Scott: Who was brave enough to be the only Dansville Diver to compete all 3 dives last night and did a standout Job!!
Cassidy Rider: Who has spirit and grit! She jumped in the pool, dropped 20 seconds in her 50 free, and was ready to race any swimmer who looked her way.
Parker Black: Who shocked the whole team by dropping over 10 seconds to crush his competition!
Biggest drop of the meet!!!!
Lily Vann: LILY DROPPED ALMOST A WHOLE MINUTE!!! She has been working hard in practice and it showed last night!
Swimmer of the meet goes to:
Kierstan Pierson! For recording the fastest time last night in the 50 free! She has been a driving force for both winning relays and as an 8th grade leader stepped up to take 1st place in the 100 free. Congratulations Kiersten!!!!
