Hello Sunday. Alarm went off at 6am 😳bright and early again and up dressed and ready for the second bank holiday event this weekend 👍 …. And another tomorrow!

Just a few more weeks left now and the season will slow and I will close to event attendance until mid November when we will we reopen in time for the Xmas season.

I’ve loved every single second this year! it really has been an epic 6 months for my business, but I’m feeling tired now and need to recharge soon

I remember where I started with ‘Bobbies’ Ive worked so hard year on year. This isn’t just some side hustle. This growing buisness is now 8 years old.

We each love what we do ….. and we enjoy doing what we’re good at 👍

Did you know that here at Bobbies we are expanding our services and products?

So in addition to our recognisable and loved braids and recently our boutique shop ……… This year we have expanded our services into festival sparkles! 😍 we’ve been offering hair glitter for a while and more recently these past few months glitter tattoos! ……….. However we have been busy. We are in the process of opening a glitter bar to offer as part of our overall event services 👍 we hope to bring our sparkles to future events whenever we can. We are a family run business and currently an events team of 3 but we are growing! …… and as we grow so can our portfolio 😍

This weekend we will be in Gloucester both Saturday and Sunday 👍 We intend to offer our entire festival range at reduced prices …. in return we hope for our lovely customers co-operation in helping us photograph our work for our upcoming portfolio! 🙏🏻

We are fully insured and DBS checked

An amazing amount of money for the charity raised. Feeling very proud right now 😌

A MASSIVE thank you to the wonderful team from and for the most amazing time at the fiesta. Natalie and Kelly donated £300 each from their takings for the weekend meaning a wonderful £600 for the charity as well as bringing so much joy to our tent over the three days. They worked flat out spreading glitter and colour all through the fiesta! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we hope to work with you again soon.

Well I think we’re just about recovered. Another good nights sleep and few more pain killers and we will be right as rain 🤣👍

I’ve spent today pretty much led on the sofa recoperating and thinking about the wonderful memories of this weekend.

I still can’t believe my that my little buisness was asked to attend Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.

Alongside our event buddies at Painted by a Purchase we came together as a team. And you know what we utterly smashed it 💪

I’m genuinely speechless. I had hoped we’d be busy, but I don’t think any of could have ever anticipated the success that was to follow. We arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed at 8am on Friday to eagerly excited children who’d been waiting since the early mass accent for our arrival. Then every morning was the same 😍 but team work made the dream work 💪 together we managed the ques and my goodness they were consistently long 😱 It’s been the most incredible experience and one we will never forget.

Here’s just a few pictures that we were able to capture in between the chaos. We’d like to thank Love Squared once again for asking to be part of this fabulous weekend. Also thank you to every single visitor who came to see us. It’s been lovely seeing you all upload your own photos and tagging us 🙏🏻

A large sum of our profits will be donated directly to the charity this week 👍

Day 1 done! 👍

It’s been so so busy today we haven’t had a chance to take any photographs although we did take a few of the stall early this morning at set up 👍 thank you so so much to everybody that came today and waited in the long Que for their braids 🙏🏻

So many smiling faces and beautiful braids. 😍 We opened at 9.30am and we closed around 7.30pm. Home for a much needed rest now before doing it all again tomorrow 👍
