✨Meet your 2023 Miss Lassen County Contestants✨

Contestant #9 is Sofia Bennett. Sofia’s reign as Little Miss Lassen County in 2015 ignited her passion for community and some of her favorite community events include Uptown Country Christmas, weekly farmers markets, and the Lassen County Fair. To showcase her talent, Sofia will be tap dancing to the song “Popular” from Wicked.

Contestant #8 is Mary Weekley. Mary is a passionate dancer and enjoys nothing more than sharing her love of dance with others. Mary will be dancing to “I hope you dance” by Lee Ann Womack as her talent in honor of her father who is no longer with us.

Contestant #7 is Chalise Robbins. Chalise is a fan of the arts and has a passion for music, photography, and jewelry making. You won’t want to miss Chalise’s passion for music come to life, as she plays “Pirates of the Caribbean '' on piano.

Contestant #6 is Hayley Trevizu. Hayley is an avid swimmer and spends most of her time by the pool or perfecting her craft at one of the 3 dance companies she performs with. She is sure to shine as she takes the stage performing a lyrical dance to “Unsteady” by X Ambassadors.

Contestant #5 is Hanah Perez. While Hanah has only lived in Lassen County for 5 years, she is passionate about our community and believes “it takes kindness, responsibility, leadership, and action to make an impact in a community.” To showcase her talent, Hanah will be playing “Better than Revenge” by Taylor Swift on the Snare Drum.

Contestant #4 is Renee Delgado. One of Renee’s favorite aspects about our community is that, “no matter where you go, you truly feel like you belong.” For the talent portion of the evening, Renee will be performing a hip hop dance to “Stir Fry” by Migos.

One week from tonight this night will be sparkling ✨ These beautiful ladies will be taking the stage to showcase their speeches, talent, and poise they have been working so hard this past month. You don’t want to miss it.

Contestant #3 is Katelyn Kirack. Katelyn is the 2023-2024 Susanville FFA President and is incredibly passionate about all things agriculture. You don’t want to miss Katleyn’s inspirational speech at the Miss Lassen County Pageant or the opportunity to watch her sell her animals at the Lassen County Junior Livestock Auction on Sunday.

Contestant #2 is Tammy Justice. Tammy is passionate about our tight-knit community and says, “our community may not be very big, but we are big in heart.” Dust off your boots and shuffle along with Tammy as she line dances to “Fake ID” by Big and Rich during the talent portion of the evening.

Contestant #1 is Kahlen Somerville. Kahlen enjoys running and golfing and loves escaping into the pages of a young adult fiction novel. For her talent, Kahlen will encourage the audience with a motivational speech. 🎤
