As we get set to converge on Paris in just over a month, it's time to once again celebrate the founding of the modern Olympics on this very day in the same city back in 1894 by Pierre de Coubertin.
The theme for Olympic day this year is "Let's Move and Celebrate", asking everyone to ignite a collective passion to get active and connected through sport.
It's also that annual occasion for all of us Olympic geeks to celebrate the greatest sporting event on the planet and come together as one big Olympic family at the same time! We find it an honour to be able to bring you some amazing stories from some amazing people related to the Olympics and have some fun doing so along the way. And without you joining us every week, it wouldn't be possible, so thank you!

Sergei has gone on to great things since we caught up with him after the Tokyo Olympics, most notably securing a silver medal at the World Cup in Indonesia last year as well as finishing 13th at the World Championships.
