Job description
Experienced Landscape Worker
MUST have experience
- Landscape construction - Experience with pavers, retaining walls, building fences etc for a commercial landscaping company. If you do not have experience please do not apply.
- Operate hand and power tools, and heavy equipment to complete assigned tasks;
- Operate company trucks and trailers for transportation purposes;
- Communicating with customers and identifying any concerns or needs
- Bobcat experience is a must
- Compliance with quality and safety standards
- Proper use of required personal protective equipment on crew
- Ensuring proper use, care and inventory of company vehicles, equipment and tools
- Physically fit - this is a very physically demanding position, lifting, bending, shovelling, mowing etc.
This position has potential to be year round, transitioning into snow removal for the winter.
Requirements:
Hold a valid driver’s license, with vehicle to get to and from site - if you do not have this please do not apply
Be capable of working independently with little supervision
Experience in landscape construction a MUST
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Looking for labourers to help lay sod in SW Calgary today (June 23).
$18 hr paid cash (etransfer). Must have own transportation to get to the work site.
