Fall is a wonderful time of change. The beautiful green of the summer amazes us even more when the leaves turn the beautiful hues that Autumn brings. Change is all around us in our daily lives: ideas, relationships, jobs, home situations. Life cannot stay still or it will die, it must move on and grow. Sometimes our growth is like fall, a transition of ideas or hopes and dreams, a way of stopping and looking at where we are and where we want to be. Setting goals are good but the ex*****on of that goal takes time as do the seasons. Sections of our life are like sections of the year. These transitions help us think of what we can evolve into. What can we become if a beautiful summer can become an entrancing fall? The sky is the limit, big or small, be inspired by this amazing gift, the physical change that we can see and feel. Spend a little time with your feet in the cool earth and appreciate the blessings all around. Love to all and happy Fall!
Here's hoping your day is filled with joy and beauty from my home to yours.
Such a wonderful evening to sit outside and enjoy the birds chirping, feel the breeze blowing and watching the sky as the sun sets. It is a perfect time to slow down and count my blessings. Though the laundry needs folded and dinner needs to be made and on and on, taking time for me has to be one of those have to's. Here's hoping you find your peace and blessings. Love and light to all.
It is national book week and I thought I would take this moment to share a new book and author with you who happens to be very special to me because he has been a part of my life for about 28 years now since he married my mom and made her extremely happy. It is called Yavapai County Line West of the Divide Book One. It is the beginning of a series that follows a family over the years with their roots right here in Prescott, AZ. It is by A.G. Graham and I am sure you will love it. You can find it on Amazon or go to Peregrine Bookstore.
I began reading Warrior of the Light A Manual by Paulo Cohelo and this quote struck me as something that is very pertinent.
"From now on-and for the next few hundred years-the Universe is going to help Warriors of the Light and hinder the prejudiced.
The Earth's energy needs to be renewed.
New ideas need space.
Body and soul need new challenges.
The future has become present and every dream-except those dreams that involve preconceived ideas-will have a chance to be heard."
Blessings, Kelly.
So I saw this at the store and thought...why?? But then I thought why not. The woman who had this little "baby" in her cart was past the child rearing days and must have needed someone to love and care for to that extent. This may seem silly to some, but let's put a positive spin on it. Go out there and love to the extent you can...we all need it.
From my personal Maya Angelou inspiration pages. Hope is a powerful thing. Here's to hoping. Blessings to all.
I picked up my old, tattered, dog eared, underlined copy of Love by Leo Buscaglia which is a based on a love class he created and taught at USC in the 70's. It is a wonderful book based on what was discussed and conclusions he made based on those discussions. I have so many quotes that have resonated with me but I will pick one to share today.
"Love offers itself as a continual feast to be nourished upon, knowing that the more one ingests and digests, the greater become his energies. One can't overeat. He will only have more to offer when others come to his feast. Loves potential is limitless." Leo Buscaglia. Blessings and love to all.

The holidays are here and with so much rushing around to make it a special day for everyone, especially the kids, I try to remember to slow down. I want that last errand done but so does someone else and they are just as tired and ready to be done for the day, so I let them go in front or let go of my desire to roll my eyes. I see more people doing the same this holiday and it has made it easier on me too. So I want to send out a thank you to the universal we and wish you all a safe and happy holiday season.
Two years ago I created a lotion bar that has been successful with friends and family, I decided, with support from family that this would be something I could expand on and sell. I wanted to create more products to go along with the lotion bar with the same intention; all natural ingredients. This led me to create the group of products on this list. I will be following up with prices and package deals. Please let me know if this seems like something you may be interested in by liking this post. I hope this finds you all well. Thank you. Kelly
On this November day as the leaves are falling and the cold wind is whirling and I am cozy warm in my home, I am reminded to be grateful. There are times when it is hard to make ends meet but that is when I need to take stock of how much I do have, heathy happy child, family, friends, basic necessities, and hope that all will work out because it always does in one way or another. I appreciate this time of transition from one season to the next, this is a time to let go of the old, bring on the new and make changes for the best. Blessings to all and happy thanks giving.
There is something profoundly empowering that comes with sitting alone with yourself. It is not always easy to turn everything off and listen to the silence and then hear your own thoughts and feel where that takes you. I have found satisfaction in getting up early instead of fighting to sleep in because I have the quiet of the morning to center myself. This is very new to me and I am so glad my busy mind has found this new way of being. May your day be filled with all you need to listen and feel and be.
Yesterday, I was having an emotionally challenging day, and I was not my cheerful self I try to be to everyone. Acting that way is the indicator that I have gone too far into myself and my ego had taken over. I met a woman at the store who had seen me before and noticed something was off and asked, I did respond and say I was having a bad day (because why sugarcoat it?). She responded that she understood and said she had just given notice at her job because she was having a hard time keeping up. I was still stuck in my own stuff though I did manage a "sorry to hear that". She was slow and in my state I had not been patient and that pace further annoyed me. I left in the rain, in a hurry, and have finally looked up from yesterday and I have worked through what was going on. I wanted to share this because I did not get the chance to show her the compassion she was trying to show me, I fought to stay selfish, and I want to show the appreciation I wish I had. Have a blessed day and hold onto the good.
Found this lovely prayer in a drawer. I meditated on it and discovered the impact it has had in my life....how does it speak to you?
Good morning to all you beautiful people. I have been thinking recently about true self or more specifically getting to know your true self. It's a hard thing to do. We think we would already know ourselves pretty well, but how? It is true you know the kind of food you like, and the people you love, the music you like, aversions and turn ons but do you know what is working for you now? How long has it been since you checked in? In my experience, checking in is a type of meditation but instead of clearing your head, you are listening to what is going on in there. Let the chatter go on, follow a thought where it takes you, ask questions, smile at your humor and be there for the confusion and sadness and joys. Your true self changes and evolves, if you don't take a minute to stop and check in, you may miss it. Thanks Ferris Beuller. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Friday, I hope it is the beginning of a fabulous weekend. If you have time and the inclination to pamper yourself or finally tackle that sore area you have ignored for so long that you have gotten used to it, the message me or text at 928-458-0705. Blessings. Kelly.
Kelly's quotes gratitude...
I was incredibly moved today by a beautiful show of gratefulness. I was stopped at the light at gateway blvd. and hwy 69. There was a homeless man and his dog sitting on the corner that I only noticed because of the sound of a horn from the truck turning right by the man. It turns out the older couple in the truck was trying to get the mans attention to give him money. When the man received the money, after he thanked the couple and they drove away, he bent down and kissed his dog many times with a large smile on his face no doubt sharing his fortune with his friend. He then sat down and folded his hands to pray, I could see on his face a sense of relief mixed with immense thankfulness. I was feeling something similar because of money I had earned today but I was humbled seeing what true need was and I felt my own gratefulness ten fold. I quickly counted all of my blessings and I am grateful!!
Let's talk deep tissue massage. I am always saddened when I hear people say with a shudder "no deep tissue, the last therapist that did that hurt me" or something to that effect. I always explain that deep tissue doesn't have to mean going into everyone's body with the same force. Deep tissue to one person is very different on another person. There are layers of tissue on your body and massage works at the depth that your body will allow and that you are comfortable with in order to loosen the connective tissue and allow the flow of blood and lymphatic fluid to move more freely. Whether the knot is worked out at that time or not, you and your therapist have taken the first step to finally get to the tight muscle or that knot you have had for as long as you can remember. Give it time and work with your therapist, if you are in pain then your body will only fight it whether you say you can take it or not. Blessings, Kelly.
Good afternoon. I was thinking the other day about one persons preference for a massage therapist over another and perhaps feeling uncomfortable leaving one for another. Here's the thing, massage therapists and other body workers have their own style and technique based on the training they received as well as what they think works best for their clients. No massage therapist is the same, I compare it to art, no one person will express themselves in the same way and massage is a form of expression with the intent to provide comfort. The only thing you should worry about is finding someone who gives you the comfort that you are searching for. And as a therapist I can say that is what I want for you too. Blessings to you and yours.
Remember to take care of yourself, let go and get a massage. Appointments available and I will travel to your home. $65.00 for an hour and $90 for an hour and a half. Call 928-458-0705.
