🏊 Project Spotlight: Renovation Edition 🌞✨

At Clarkson Pools, we had the pleasure of transforming the Molski family’s backyard into a modern oasis! We redesigned their pool, transitioning from a classic Roman shape to a sleek, linear design that complements their home beautifully. 🌿 To enhance usability, we added a sunshelf for lounging and adjusted the depth to create an inviting play area. With brand-new Artistic Paver hardscaping, the pool and its surroundings feel like a fresh installation! We’re thrilled to bring Clarkson Quality to every step of this project and hope the Molski family enjoys their updated outdoor space for years to come. 🏖️💧

Meet Emily Simmons Hurst, our Commercial Project Manager since April 2021. With a background in mechanical engineering and commercial construction, Emily has far exceeded every expectation we had when hiring her. Her quick learning, wit, and dedication make her an invaluable asset to Clarkson Pools.
Though some may think she’s shy, they quickly learn how wrong they are! Emily is full of energy, whether she’s overseeing projects, traveling to new destinations, riding thrill rides, or dominating in fantasy football, where she ranks among the top teams.
She loves the family atmosphere at Clarkson Pools and takes great pride in watching commercial pools evolve from design to completion. We’re lucky to have her on our team!

🌪️ Hurricane season is here, and at PBJC, your safety is our priority! 🌪️

Preparing your pool for a hurricane is crucial to protect your home and investment. As proud Floridians, we understand the importance of getting your outdoor space ready for any storm. Here are some key tips:

✔️ Don't Drain Your Pool – Contrary to what you might think, draining your pool can cause it to "float" out of the ground due to rising groundwater. Keep it full!

✔️ Secure Pool Furniture – Remove or safely store outdoor furniture and toys to prevent them from becoming projectiles.

✔️ Turn Off Equipment – If flooding is expected, shut off all equipment to prevent damage.

✔️ Post-Storm Clean-Up – After the storm, remove debris, check equipment, and rebalance chemicals.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with the Gerken family to craft a breathtaking backyard oasis at their modern Ponte Vedra Beach home! 🏡🌴 The design flows seamlessly with their home, creating a true resort-like vibe. 🌊 Highlights include a sunken fire pit surrounded by shimmering pool water and a stunning custom 5-foot water wall adorned with mosaic tiles. 💧🔥 It’s the perfect setting for both relaxing evenings and entertaining guests. We loved collaborating with the Gerken family to bring their vision to life and are thrilled with how it turned out! 🙌

In our third collaboration with the Carlson family, we partnered with the Cottage Home Company to create an exquisite backyard resort from the ground up. The clean lines of the pool and spa seamlessly blend with the outdoor cabana, complementing the home's aesthetic. To enhance the environment, synthetic turf was installed around the pool instead of traditional hardscape, offering a softer, low-maintenance alternative. This backyard oasis is perfect for everything from entertaining family and friends to enjoying a peaceful day by the pool.

Check out this incredible pool renovation! 🌊 We added a stunning sun shelf, deep end bench and squared off the pool corners for a sleek, linear look. We also shallowed the depth of the deep end and gave the pool a fresh makeover with new tile and a luxurious cove blue pebble interior finish. To top it off, we installed beautiful shellock pavers in ivory for both the coping and decking.
