3 simple ways to elevate your chocolate chip cookies.

✨Use a mix of chocolate chips
I love using a mix of dark, milk and semi sweet chocolate. And definitely use different types! Regular chips, chocolate chunks and mini chips are my go to.
✨Brown your butter!
I use half regular & half browned butter in my recipe and the nutty flavor it gives is just 👌 but be careful, because once you do it, you'll never go back 😂
✨Top with some Maldon Sea Salt just before baking
Yes, Maldon is pricey, but it will last you so long and is 100% worth it!

My macarons have come a LONG way since my first batch in 2016. They've gone from something I feared making to a treat I absolutely love to create.

A special cake to celebrate a very special boy and his parents 💙

Back in 2013, I was able to make a trip to visit my older sister who was then living in Slovakia, and it was there she taught me how to decorate candles. I am nowhere near as good as she is, but it's a skill I do enjoy using every once in a while, especially when making things for family or our own home. This one went to my husband's new Godson for his Baptism ☺️

Huge shout out to for the design inspiration! Her sacrament cards are GORGEOUS 😍

When it's Our Lady's feast day, so you make cookies using only the white and blue candies 💙

I never really thought much about liturgical cooking/baking until two years ago, when I came across post about why we make waffles on the feast of the Annunciation. It truly sparked an interest, and ever since then, I try to bake liturgically when I can. Perhaps one day, I'll put together a little cookbook or something, but for now, I enjoy simply explaining to my 2 1/2 year old, that we use blue candies because blue is Mary's color and today (even though it's a Friday in Lent) is a special day and to celebrate, we make cookies 😊

A couple weeks ago, I asked what you would like to see from the bakery this year and the overwhelming answer was gluten free items. I have finally updated my website with the gf items I currently offer! Delicious cupcakes and cakes in two different gluten free flavors:
Rich chocolate and Classic Funfetti. Both are so rich and moist and you wouldn't even know they're gluten free!
While it's only a couple of items right now, I'm working on more. I've made it my business goal for this year to come up with more gluten free options 😊

Unicorn Cupcakes for a special birthday girl 🎂🦄

These were such a blast to make! I haven't had a unicorn request in over 3 years and I forgot how much I loved the colors, the glitter and the overall cuteness of them 😊
And the best part?? Every detail was completely edible! I try to avoid fondant (I know it's edible, but it's disgusting unless it's homemade) so coming up with edible ears and a horn was a fun challenge! Thank you for the help! 😉

It's been just a month, you know? I was supposed to be at the Highlands Ranch Craft Fair this weekend, but with both of my boys super sick and an unexpected hand surgery it definitely wasn't going to happen. Which just is a bummer, to put it as nicely as I can 😂 Small businesses can thrive at craft fairs and I was really looking forward to it. So if you were expecting to see me there, I am truly sorry. If you've been waiting for a response from me, thank you for being patient. It has just been one of those months where it feels life just chews you up and spits you out....and then does it again 🤷🏼‍♀️

However, I have some GOOD NEWS! Thanks to Lisa from come November 22nd, you will be able to order from me online!!! My own mini-website!!
