A pure Pashmina will smell like animal hair and not any other fabric when it's wet, since it's made from animal hair. High quality Pashmina are always hadmade. Most machine sewed Pashminas are low quality and silk mixed, which are also sold as water pashmina. Pure Pashmina should only be dry cleaned and should not be ironed.
