Center For Social Responsibility and Accountability (CESRA Kenya) is a connected community platform of CSR Accredited Practitioners and Accredited Charitable organizations in Kenya with a Vision to Create a vibrant and all around membership that works together for a common good.
CESRA is a service organization that works to connect accountable and under resourced grassroots organizations in Kenya to churches, businesses, funding organization and individuals who are anxious to make a difference. OUR CSR KENYA MISSION:
1. Encourage companies to adopt on web based CSR reporting as it allows stakeholders greater access to information and at the same time allows companies to update information in real time.
2. Encourage companies to commit to making a positive, beneficial impact on the communities they serve by connecting to the listed and reviewed charitable organizations. The charities listed here, every penny they receive from their supporters goes to people they serve to transform their lives.
3. Encourage nonprofits to share their mission, programs, leadership, goals, accomplishments and needs openly for easy CSR identification. Empower, train, and mentor nonprofits on your behalf.
4. Recognize CSR companies that excel
We at CESRA think this is what matters. We are NOT interested in charities with big names who take charities as a big business.
