Beautiful to see so many wonderful change makers coming together to grieve and celebrate the life of David Newman. He died recently of a brain tumor, which was very unexpected and sudden.
I feel moved by the power of our communities to come together and be with each other at such a time, honouring the generosity and kindness that David gave through his music and in many other ways throughout his life.
If you're in the LA area this Saturday and feel called, email [email protected] to register :) All funds go to supporting David's daughter, Tulsi.

You may not think the way you’re showing up as a leader in your world is having an impact.
I can tell you, I’m pretty much 100% certain that it is.
If you mix with other people at all, you’re showing up in their worlds. As a model of what a human being is/should be. We ALL influence each other, whether it’s positive or negative, it’s happening.
There will be some people who are looking up to you, wanting to be like you, or (perhaps) looking down on you, not wanting to be like you.
Either way, you’re still a leader.
So really the question is not, ‘Are you a leader?’
But rather, ‘What kind of leader are you?’
Now, I’m not saying you should be checking whether you’re composing yourself like one of the greats from history! No!
A lot of people think they have to be something they aren’t to be a leader...
But that’s exactly what PREVENTS people from being the unique, authentic leaders they absolutely have the capacity to be.
If you feel like a leader has to be a certain way, you’re setting yourself up for failure because you’re never going to be the exact model in your head… so the questions I’M interested in are:
What is YOUR leadership?
What is YOUR style?
What special brand of leader do YOU bring?
Our friends over at Embodiment Unlimited are holding a FREE event for you to find out!
Join them from June 7-8, free and online and uncover your unique leadership potential.

BLESS
Take your time
Move at your pace
Be gentle with your heart
Lean into your edge
Find that point of growth
& lovingly explore it
You have your own unique rhythm
Your own own timing
You don't need to compare
Embrace your pace,
And the grace of your unfolding.
Happy Tuesday friends
Perhaps our pain doesn't need to be our enemy...
Perhaps it doesn't need to be locked away.
Perhaps it isn't looking for us to go to war with it.
Perhaps it simply is calling for our attention,
As a messenger
Of something deeply important.
As a reminder of our humanness,
As a plea for our love,
Our presence,
Our care,
Our compassion,
Our creativity,
Our humility,
Our togetherness.
What would it be like if we brought our pain back into the warmth of a collective embrace?
To be dialogued with in the open air or possibility, curiosity and compassion?
To be honored as a part of our embodied experience?
The way it makes each breath, each moment of mobility and strength,
Each moment of joy and beauty
That much more potent,
That much more sacred
That much more precious,
To be alive,
Even in the darkest hour,
Is still a miracle.
What would it be like if we lived this,
For ourselves,
For each other,
For this Earth.
What seeds would grow in the compost of our shame,
In the shedding of our isolation,
In the loosening of our fear,
In the depths of our care,
With the watering of our tears,
With the strength of our hearts,
With the heat of our breath
And the echo of our prayers...
Maybe then we'll leave the world a better place than we found it.
Being with all the tenderness from a week with the full moon eclipse in Scorpio...
How are you all feeling out there?!
What are your ways to stay with the waves even when they rock you?
Embracing the raw edges and creating a safe space for ALL of you to arrive.
Messy and unpolished,
How do you love yourself through the storm?
True meditation is about being fully present with EVERYTHING.
That INCLUDES discomfort and challenge, That includes all the distracting thoughts and stories,
Listen, watch, wait and bring awareness to those younger selves that tell you false tales of your worth.
Breathing INTO the sensations,
The contractions
Staying present in your body,
For that's where the healing occurs.
Be gentle out there,
Tune into our playlists for some sonic support whether for meditation, breath-work, yoga or QiGong.
Tune into your breath and the wisdom of your body-temple,
Let it all move through
With love

If you want some incredibly tasty bests we highly recommend you go have a listen to Michael Sebastian.
His album Afiye is our new favorite with tracks featured in our playlist: Bounce in your Step
Michael Sebastian improvises dance music.
His music has the structure of electronic; the freedom of jazz, and the depth of world music.
"Sonically, this Afiye incorporates Sebastian's gorgeous guitar melodies and phrasings with his love for jazz and dance whilst intricately embracing worldly sounds and rhythms. The foundations of the tracks on Afiye were composed through Sebastian’s use of loop pedals building sonic layers on top of each other."
Sebastian's music is an expression of musical interactions
and insights from around the world.
His mission is to cultivate connection
and share freedom through music and performance.
