Simple Math Equation Goes Viral Since People Can’t Agree On A Single Answer “Out of every 1,000,000 people, only 1 can solve this simple equation” – we all have been given this kind of invitation to dust off our noggins and soil our hands in the dirt with these deceptively basic calculations. Well, we present the trending ‘simple’ math equation going viral on the ...

Contrary to what we’ve all been shown and told what is possible, what you’re seeing in these pictures is a *whole* cast of Black actors, and a creative team of *more than half* who are not white. Honoured to be part of making this such a great rehearsal space full of laughter, tears, growth, learning, unlearning, and fun 🧡

“So I don’t know how many of you have been in the bathroom at the Hayes but, there are all of these past shows and signatures and all these like beautiful fun things and all these past shows how exciting oh my god all these famous people! And then we have … ours … *chuckles*” 🪓👹

OPENING🪓NIGHT🪓HOTTIES🪓
We were so stoked to have even reached opening, I first auditioned a year ago, our original dates were postponed due to covid, and even the announcement was postponed week after week after week for months. I couldn’t really let myself believe the show was happening until we got to the theatre for the first time incase it was taken away from me. As a performer you somehow have to be prepared for opportunities to fall through in an instant, but it’s even more brutal at the moment. I’m so beyond appreciative of everyone for making it such a fun, creative and safe experience. I LOVE YOU ALL AND WE DID SOMETHING FU***NG INCREDIBLE 🍐
ID: Ten tiles of the cast, some creatives, and some Hayes staff all dolled up on opening night with photos taken against the LIZZIE poster backdrop. We all look pretty damn happy, grateful and thankful. ❤️🔥

This post was going to be about opening but we had such a wild show tonight I had to commit to memory 🪓🪓
In the dialogue just before the first love song a phone started going off. We kept going and started the song, noticing a few people shuffle about seeing if it was theirs - I even had a mini heart attack thinking I might have absentmindedly put my phone in my pocket(!). After the first verse, birthday girl Stefanie Caccamo] stopped, looked out to the front row and said “you can turn it off you know, we’ll wait … … … no? Okay.” Then turns back to me, takes a deep breath, and starts the most beautifully dramatic re-entry into the chorus, with the alarm still going off >> creepily in the same key and tempo as the song. The alarm is still going towards the end of it, there’s grumbling in the audience about it, Stef and I {REDACTED FOR SPOILERS} and there’s a bit of nervous laughter because tbh the whole thing is fu***ng ridiculous. We think it’s stopped and start the next scene but no, alarm still going. It’s a punk rock number so somewhat covers the alarm still ringing (gotta be 5-10 minutes by now) and by the end of that song it’s beyond ridiculous. Our SM calls a show stop while I’m shaking and crying holding the last scene and the perp finally realises it’s theirs and starts apologising profusely. , as the maid Bridget, looks down at her from the mezzanine of the barn and kindly says “it’s okay… it’s just a show…”. Audience laughter. 🪓🪓 LIZZIE WAS NOT HAPPY. With both the emotional turmoil of the audience disruption and laughter and the clear dishonour of the gravity of her *SPOILER ALERT* pigeons’ murder, and still focused on the bundle in my arms and shaking with anger, tears, and snot bubbles from my nose, angrily out of my mouth came “MY PIGEON’S ARE FU***NG DEAD”. Laughter. Lighting change. And then the show resumed.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Stefanie Caccamo], we love you. 🎈
