Today, is a day of understanding, that we as individual's are all susceptible to poor mental health as much as we are all potential providers of helping those who are suffering with low esteem, confidence, self-worth and well-being.
Introducing people to nature has always been an incredibly powerful source of therapy, no matter how big or small you think the issues are.
Because of this I've compiled all the film commissions I've had the privilege to make through Warwickshire Wildlife Trust related to developing better mental health and well-being. It's a joy to see the incredible individuals again that I met during this process and hear their powerful stories. Just back from a short trip filming on the very SW Pembrokeshire peninsula. Of all the wonderful captured moments I hadn't reckoned upon having the most intimate - to the point of surreal, experience with a party of 20+ Chough. These guys came and said hi down to 5yds from me. Preening and feeding, an acceptance I'm not shy to say was, on reflection, a little overwhelming.
