Today is a special milestone in the history of learning Coding & Robotics which we called STEM before it became STEAM.
If you doubt , today is your answer that the impact of STEAM cannot be understated. All the way from the Arizona State University to South Africa STEAM is a force to reckon with.
With STEAM more skills are built for the future. I'm am also excited about the number of girls who are taking STEAM fully to the future. I am privileged that I was involved in STEAM activities early that gave me a positive mindset when it comes to Mathematics and Science.

It is a common stereotype that computers , Coding and technology are for men. Some even go further claiming that girls and women are simply not designed for STEAM.
Today we celebrate a liberating thought that women can be innovators, inventors, disruptors, shakers and movers in this 4th Industrial revolution.
Coding and Robotics helped me to develop skills of gathering information , understand the root of the problem and approach a challenge from different perspectives.

As I stand here today I am so ambitious in obtaining a Tech degree and a start my own Tech company, solve big problems and change the world.
That's my dream and what's yours ?

Good evening our special guests from Arizona state university EPICS Team , E Lab team , Cheta group and my fellow colleagues.

Wow wow what a day! There is no better way to celebrate STEAM than this. I heard about it but couldn't see it coming that the EPICS team will come to South Africa. Thank you for keeping your promise and grace us in this special way. Can we give them a round of applause. I hope you are already preparing to come back next year.

You have honoured the Bridge2Africa, The E Lab community, Students , various stakeholders and the entire nation. This special visit made me to understand that Engineering projects in community service (EPICS)is actually a compliment to our STEAM learning at the E Lab. Your mission has transformed the entire world solving community challenges through the power of technology and Education.

The E Lab Robotics kindled a spark in me to love tech and develop a deep passion of coding. Thankfully, I have done a number of STEM projects that helped me to think systematically , solving problems in my own way. I learnt to focus on details and a bigger picture.

At the E lab I learned to treat the world as my own laboratory. You try , You fail and keep trying .Life is a DIY project ,we should all apply an inquisitive mind and find questions.Learning Robotics helped me to develop the skills and knowledge I need to succeed in an increasing digital world.

Thank you Professor Jared and Courtney for leading this vibrant EPICS team. The ladies in the group is an inspiration to me.

Yes in Tech all things are possible .
