Edutip | What is Brow Mapping Let me explain as best as I can which I often refer to as my Visual Consultation ๐ง EYEBROW MAPPING is a shaping technique that uses the golden ratio for facial proportions to help achieve symmetry and sculpt the most flattering shape for your brows. [The golden ratio] is the mathematical ratio of 1.618 to 1. It represents the ideal visual harmony and balance. Itโs often used in design, architecture, and fine arts. Like the complex human body and objects found in nature, the โperfect browsโ follow the golden ratio rule. Your brow specialist will take measurements and make marks on the skin. You can then either have your brows shaped and tinted. The eyebrow mapping technique is taken a step further because the artists use the mapping paste or string brow mapping method. Instead of drawing and marking with just a ruler and pencil, the use of an inked string or mapping paste is highly precise and technical. With this method, there is less room for error when trying to achieve symmetry. When we use this method to show clients their newly-framed brow design, many of them are shocked by how uneven their brows originally were. Especially a policy that you have to reschedule or cancel your appointment in a certain amount of time whether thatโs 12, 24, or 48 hours in advance. Confirmation texts are usually sent out 48 hours in advance to give enough time to reschedule if needed When you reschedule or cancel last minute itโs nearly impossible to fill that spot resulting in money being lost for that provider, then the policy comes into place whether thatโs a charge for 50% or 100% of the service booked No show policies are also in place, if you no show an appointment thatโs not only disrespectful to the service provider but that shows them that you donโt respect them or their time. You also took up a time slot that a paying guest couldโve had Late policies, If you show up late past the grace period there is a charge. Whether thatโs a grace period of 5 or 10 minutes you are pushing the provider behind resulting in their whole schedule running behind to accommodate someone who wasnโt on time to their appointment. Appointments are only so long and depending how late you are there just isnโt time to do that service Policies arenโt personal. Theyโre to protect us and make sure we still get paid for our time. The doctors office has them, the dentist, the dermatologist, the gynecologist, etc. If you donโt like a service providers policies then simply donโt book with them And if a provider you booked with does have these policies and you need to cancel last minute please understand, You wouldnโt argue with your doctor or dentist so why argue with us ๐ค๐ค๐ค
